This one was deep.

This one took me by surprise in so many ways. There were things in this story that I didn't see coming, but it was so good I couldn't put it down. Wow! Toni Anderson went to a whole other level with this one. If you have triggers, please check them because you may not be up for this story. If you are like me and read for the enjoyment of the story, get this one. It was OUTSTANDING! I have not been disappointed with this series and can't even think of stopping.

Obsessed with Toni Anderson

This series, along with all of the others are the absolute best books! Great stories, characters you fall in love with, full of action, and with some steamy romance added to make you root for love and the good guys!

I loved the story except the harm to the children.
the narration was very good.wish there was a epilogue.

Love Toni Anderson’s cold books, its well written and the characters are always top notch. Never disappoints. The only sad thing is waiting for the next installment!

DISAPPOINTING

I have enjoyed Toni Anderson before (COLD & DEADLY), but realize that I am disappointed in her protrayal of female FBI agents.

The female agent trips and the perp gets away. The male agent yelled at her since he could not shoot the perp without hitting the female agent. Even though the FBI boss said she did the right thing, the female agent still apologized for being in the way. The male agent did not apologize for yelling at her and being wrong. I have enjoyed COLD & DEADLY, but some of the same frustrations are in that story, too. Apparently, female agents are all clumsy (yes, the h in C&D tripped - twice) and it is acceptable for them to apologize even when they are right. And, the male agents do not need to apologize when they are wrong.

Also, the H let the h go on being unhappy instead of telling her right away that his friend lied to her. He stood there and let the h take the blame for kissing him, etc. when she now knows he was engaged. Nevermind that the H - if he HAD been engaged - should not have kissed etc. her back. This, after thinking the h had played HIM, when all the time HE was supposed to seduce HER for info.

But, Eric G. Dove does a good job narrating.
