In a desolate, disease-ravaged world, survivors are forced to travel to a new settlement to find safety. Led by the Donner brothers, the group face hunger, scavenger attacks, illnesses, human greed, brutal natural events, and something far worse.

In the frozen darkness, a hunger awaits. It feeds on human flesh. Death stalks the survivors, silent as the falling snow. Facing starvation and death, the survivors will face hardship and horror. They will face...cold hunger.
