Love this series!

Dozer is one of the characters that I had questions on! I didn't know what his background was and his role in the group. Dozer is an intelligent and integral part of the team and a genius. He played major roles in the Jameson team being on top of all things the security team had placed in front of them but he also had a background that few knew.

Dozer's life before Jameson security was that of family. He has best friends, a father, a niece and so much more. When these worlds collide, how can the computer genius keep everyone safe? Jessica was one of his best friends and somewhat of a secret. She was the mother of his deceased best friend and her daughter was his world. When danger lurks around the corner for her, he jumps at the chance to protect her by all means.

Jessica was a great mom and had things in her life that she wished could have been different. The long time feelings she has for Dozer stopped her from pursuing what would make both of them happy. Jessica was a great mom, daughter, friend and so much more. Can she hold on to those feelings to keep the friendship? Will the danger that is at her backdoor rip her and Dozer apart?

I loved this story and wish we could dive more into Dozer and his father's life. I feel like there so much more to them. Unfortunately the narrators didn't do it for me. Neither of the narrators brought the characters to life. It was a difficult story to listen to when it was so good!

Friends to Lovers

First I really enjoy the Jameson Security series by Sawyer Bennett, and this next in the series really adds to the body of work.
In this latest installment we have Dozer who we’ve seen in the background of other books in the series and his best friend Jessica who we are introduced to for the first time in this book. Jessica is a single mom who had a child with Dozer’s deceased best friend, so he is more of an uncle/father figure to Jessica’s young child.
We enter the book with Dozer becoming aware that Jessica is in danger from her former boyfriend who escaped prison. This fast-paced book dives right into Dozer’s life, we meet his father and the complicated situation that is.
The Jameson Security crew pulls together to help Jessica and Dozer in the situation as it unfolds. What also unfolds is the deep feelings they have for each other and the developing relationship as they are in danger and running.

I really enjoyed this book, I do however wish it was a bit longer.
Narration was good, I enjoy Sean Crisden, and Adenrele Ojo was a new narrator that I’ve never listed to before. Overall they did a good job bringing the story and characters to live.

Intriguing! Definitely worth the listen.

A great addition to this series. I really enjoyed the friends to lovers storyline with a suspense. Dozer and Jessica have scorching hot chemistry. Intriguing from the beginning to the end. Narration is fantastic.

Code Name: Revenge

I was thrilled Dozer was finally getting his own book. We have not known much about him, other than he was a genius and he and Bebe kept the team safe with their high tech gadgets. What a surprise he was, though, to find out he was also so hot and built and has been training for the past year and when his true love is now in danger he is the man to step up and save her. There has been a prison break and Jessica is now in danger and Dozer is going to do everything in his power to save her. That means flying from Pittsburgh to Miami overnight and getting her up early and picking up her and her daughter and mother and making an impromptu stay at his dad's before a return trip to Pittsburgh. Jessica and Dozer met in college along with Chase who Jessica had the relationship with. Chase is Leah's father but didn't want to marry and joined the military and was killed in an accident. Talk about unrequited love, Jessica and Dozer have had it forever but it takes them having a killer coming at them to get them speaking their truths. When they do though, that is all it takes and they are all in. Dozer is a true protector and he going to protect her and puts his brain to work along with his considerable brawn with the backing of the Jameson team to bring down the escapee. The question is, where will they land when this is over? Will they settle back in Pittsburgh or in Miami? This is a great addition to this series and as with all the others it can be read as a standalone.

Love It

Truly enjoyed this book. Storyline predictable, being part of a series. Liked the huge decline in the use of the "F" bomb. Thank you Ms. Bennett.
