Publisher's summary

I am a world-class thief. Or I was, before I got pinched and landed in prison. After I served my time, I decided to get on the right side of the law, or as much as my job at Jameson Force Security allows. The lines sometimes blur, which suits me just fine. My name might be Saint, but I’m a devil to most.

My plan to go legitimate is going as anticipated, until my past and present collide in a big way. While in Paris preparing to take down a ring of highly specialized thieves, I come face-to-face with my biggest threat - and my most dangerous temptation.

Sindaria “Sin” Westin was the love of my life, until her betrayal landed me behind bars. Now I’ve got to find a way to trust her again, at least long enough to pull off this job. When it becomes clear the price for this heist will be our lives, I realize I need to do whatever it takes to keep Sin safe, even if it means trading my life for hers. Because no matter the lies I’ve told myself, Sin’s greatest theft was the day she stole my heart.

Fast Paced, Action Filled Second Chance Romance

Overall 4 stars
Performance 4.5 stars
Story 4 stars

Code Name: Heist had it all - action, suspense, and a sexy second chance romance. Sawyer Bennett did an excellent job of describing and introducing readers to the world of high end thieves. We met Saint in the previous book, but Code Name: Heist can be read as a standalone.

I really enjoyed Saint and Sindaria's (Sin) story. They have a complicated history, but I loved that from the start they only have eyes for each other. They both were willing to forgive and change for the other and I appreciated that for the most part, they dealt with their issues maturely and openly. Even the questionable decisions were made from a place of love. There's plenty of action between these two thanks to some forced proximity, and I loved what a team these two were. They excelled in the face of danger and throw in some seriously hot sexy times and I was sold. There is some drama at the end, but it's resolved quickly and the epilogue was so sweet. It really felt perfect after everything Saint and Sin had been through.

Joe Arden and Mackenzie Cartwright were awesome as Saint and Sin! I was especially impressed by Mackenzie Cartwright's ability to voice accents so well and Joe Arden's talent for making each of the characters (male or female) distinguishable and unique. I have listened to other titles by both of these narrators before, but this is the first time hearing them together. What a wonderful narrating duo!

It isn't all fun and games in this one though, and there is definitely some sadness for the Jamison family. I enjoyed catching up and getting updates on old characters/couples in the series, but also the Cold Fury crossover. I'm very interested to find out more about the final Fournier brother, Malik. This is a fast paced, action filled romance that is sure to be a hit with fans of the series!

LaGina

Loved the story of a thief gone straight only to have to go back into a life of crime to protect the woman he loves. the dual read by the male and female for the characters made it even more enjoyable.

The Narrator's made this story come alive for me.

You had me at a second chance romance with the woman that put you in prison.

Joe Arden and MacKenzie Cartwright were amazing in their narration of this awesome book.

Joe's deep timber and spot on reading really brought the Saint's character to life.

MacKenzie accent changing made the book for me.
I absolutely love her voice and style of reading.

This is a story of the biggest heists ever done.

When Saint is sent by Jameson Force Security to help figure out who's going to pull off a diamond heist, he gets to use his old skills.
The only problem is that he has to work with his ex-girlfriend, Sin, who sent him to prison.

This is a fast pace story of epic proportion that will have you swooning and cheering this romance on.

I can't wait to get into the next one.

Ugh I hate to do it…

This was a hard one for me. It sort of slipped from the first two. Lack of chemistry and something was missing. Joe and Mackenzie did great, but the connection wasn’t there and this might be the first time that has happened with a Sawyer Bennett book. I loathe giving such a low rating on the story but that was how I evened it all out. This doesn’t bode well for the series.

Saint and Sin

Joe Arden and Mackenzie Cartwright did an amazing job bring these fantastic characters to life. This was a highly suspenseful, thrilling, and exciting second chance romance. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time and left me breathless in the end. I enjoyed this book.

I had high hopes...

I really enjoyed the narration and the overall performance of the narrators. My biggest issue was the character's and their "chemistry" . It kills me to say but I felt these characters were just not connecting with me. Their backstory gave it so much potential, but in the present timeline of the story i was just not invested. Also, the stakes of the overall "big heist" was "meh" for me. It kills me because I've enjoyed other stories by this author, but apparently this one felt short for me.

So good!

Yet another kick ass story! Besides being hot as hell, this Saint and Sin's story kept me engaged and on the edge of my seat! The narrators, MacKenzie and Joe were fantastic! their accents were on point!

Second chance

Saint has been working for the Jameson Security since he was released from jail after being caught after a heist by his girlfriend, Sindaria "Sin". Now he is working to bring with her again and both are looking for it to be their last job. This is the 3rd book in this series but you can listen as a stand alone and not really miss out on anything but the wonderful previous books. I really liked the fast pace and how Saint and Sin are still attracted to each other. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series. Joe Arden and Mackenzie Cartwright do a great narration.

Action and romance, I loved it

Book 3 in the Jameson Force Security, and Sawyer Bennett gives us more action, more danger, and more romance in this addictive thriller. When Saint Bellinger goes under cover to infiltrate a heist ring, he gets more than he bargained for when he’s partnered with his ex, the woman who betrayed him in the worst possible way, Sindaria ‘Sin’ Weston. Yes they really are Saint and Sin - I loved that little twist. However, in order to pull off the heist and catch the bad guys, Saint must put his past with Sin aside to discover what exactly the heist is. But, we get a spanner in the works when those pesky feelings start showing themselves again. Can they pull off the heist, and catch the bad guys without ending up getting caught by the authorities, or worse still getting killed? Is it possible they’ll get their happy ever after and live legitimately in bliss? So much happening, so many things getting in their way. Action, romance, and a story to keep you on your toes. Wonderful writing, and characters, I’m just loving Jameson Security Force. Oh my, I’ve got to say, it’s worth getting the audio just for Joe Arden. I just love the whole sexy vibe he’s got going on. He’s the perfect Saint.

just ok

I've got to say I didn't enjoy this book as much as the other Jameson Force Security books. I liked the characters but didn't enjoy the story. The art theft angle didn't hold my interest. I found it hard to finish. The narration however was great. I love, love, love Joe Arden's voice and he's what pushed me to finish this book.

good story

each book gets more complex in plot. I enjoyed the clever storyline in this novel. it was gently skimmed over on the more technical side of things and the emotional feelings were easily, surprisingly appeased.
there was pace and steam....in this series sawyers steam is light.
i was a little surprised that the H and h's occupation was taken so lightly. I guess I have to take it as just that...light.
narrator's just awesome as usual
its good to see great narrator's are taking on this series.
