A book that spoke to my soul

I just finished listening to this audiobook, and all I can say is… wow.

I honestly feel like the author put words to so much of the mental, emotional, and spiritual work I’ve been doing over the last 10 years. The way she talks about spirituality, the Divine Union between Jesus and Mary Magdalene, the atonement, the crucifixion, the resurrection, sovereignty, compassion and forgiveness, and the Second Coming resonated with me so deeply. I lost count of how many times I found myself saying YES!out loud while listening.

It genuinely felt like someone had written a book that articulated so many of the beliefs I’ve slowly come to through years of questioning, deconstructing, and rebuilding my own spirituality. There were moments where I felt completely seen.

The personal stories woven throughout the book made it even more meaningful. One particular letter had me sobbing, and the way each story was shared felt so thoughtful and honoring. You could feel the love and compassion behind every one of them.

Right after I finished listening, I bought the physical copy because I knew I wanted to highlight so many passages.

If you’re someone who’s questioning, growing, or looking at your faith and spirituality through a different lens, I can’t recommend this book enough. It affirmed so much of what I’ve been discovering, and left me with a lot to reflect on. I’m incredibly grateful the author chose to share her story, wisdom, and heart.

This is one of those books I know I’ll come back to again and again, because it helped me put language to things I’ve been feeling for years and reminded me that I’m not alone in this journey!
