Surprise encounter
Peony was in the mountains for a romantic getaway, her boyfriend broke up with her and told her he was selling her app while she was gone. while she was trying to get back down to her vehicle Bane crawls over the ledge of a cliff after jumping out of a plane.
They spend time together and he teaches her to not take life so seriously.
I enjoyed the narrator's, however I wish that most of the book wouldn't have been in Peony's Pov, we don't get Bane until around chapter 15, and it would have been nice to have known what he was thinking during the first part of the book too.
