Publisher's summary

When the land remembers evil, no one is safe.

When 15-year-old Tatiana Barrie and her family move to a small town in New York, the locals say their new home, known as Clay House, is haunted. The Barries should have believed them.

Soon Tatiana's little brother starts acting strange. He sees imaginary friends; he knows things he shouldn't. Tatiana's stepfather becomes abusive and erratic.

Between possessed dolls and an unknown evil taking over her family, Tatiana is terrified more every day.

She should be even more afraid.

So creepy and so good!

Can land be haunted or just the house… Wait and answer that question after you read Clay House Buy Jordan Elizabeth. In 1913 Bertha‘s dad remarried she is half his age and acted peculiar the day he brought her home. Months later she receives a doll call frozen Carol Sue Marie constantly carries it around the home and cherishs it above all others, Including her own baby son Alexander.

In 2018 Anna and her family are moving to the property, but it’s a different house there and although still very old it’s not the one birthday group in. Although when her brother starts acting weird and she keeps hearing children’s voices and giggling she starts to wonder… I mean all the kids think her house is haunted, Not to mention the horrible book her classmate Billy gave her with a horrible story about her property. Between the haunted house and her jerk of a stepdad Barbie she feels like she’s going insane, but the one who is really losing it is their little brother Matthew. After looking in the barn to see if there was anything cool to salvage she finds a little doll no bigger than her thumb and her brother simply must possess it and he carries it around the house every chance he gets.

I thought the narrator was awesome and the plot was awesome the story was awesome overall it was awesome… It was just awesome and I highly recommend it! What a great audiobook!

Clay House

A typical yet unique, ghost house story.I loved it! When a new family moves into a house, everyone they meet tells them just a few more tid bits about where they now live.A hundred years ago a girl burnt down the house, with her family inside. Will it repeat? Already Annas step father has become abusive. Can there be a happy end? Lillian Rose was a fine narrator.I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.'

Clay House

Tatiana Berrie and her family move into a creepy house, far away from their home in Utica. Soon, Tatiana begins to find out that things have happened on this property that could be called "creepy". When she finds a small porcelain doll in a graveyard located on their property, things only get worse.

The story of Tatiana and her family is interspersed with the story of another family that lived on the property in the early 1900's. A young woman is accused of burning down the original Clay House, killing her family and farmhands in the process. But, was there more at work here than Maude's insanity?

Tatiana's mother seems to be oblivious to her new husband's abuse and anger. As Tatiana's little brother, Matthew, seems to become possessed by an evil entity, Bobby's abuse escalates. It's hard to tell which is more evil: something supernatural or the human beings.

This was a great haunted house story and the author has done a great job in creating tension and creepiness. The added bonus of a short story with another haunting is just a plus for this audiobook.

The narrator was perfect for this book and her performance added a lot to my enjoyment. I was given the chance to listen to this book by the author/publisher/narrator and chose to review it.

A nerve wracking horror story

*I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.*

4.2 stars.

As usual, Jordan Elizabeth delivered a wonderful piece. This is about the fourth or fifth book of hers I read and I quite enjoyed this one.

This is the story of a family who move into a new house after their parents separated and their mother remarried a strange man who did not seem to like them much. After arrival, the younger brother starts portraying peculiar behaviours that have the sister who tells us the story quite sceptical until there's no more way for her not to accept something else is happening here.

Once more, Jordan delivers a perfectly paced story, releasing the right details at the perfect moment. Characters are relatable and the reader can enjoy reading while basically watching everything happen around.

Highly recommended!

Yep I'm a fan now

I am definitely a fan of scary things movies books places, one of my favorite things is always a haunted house. So naturally I love haunted house stories. Unfortunately these are hard to find that are worthy of listening to. Way too many clichés in them.

I have not read one of Jordan's book before, but I'm hoping this will not be my last. This book was surprisingly refreshing. Was not the same old thing. Yes the premises is a haunted land/house but still was worth a listen. It moves fast, and was short but definitely worth a listen if you love these kind of books.

The narrator Lillian Voice was perfect for the lead character. I have not heard her before but I would definitely listen to her read me a book again.
