Claudia's stages of grief was well done and while heartbreaking, a good story for kids to learn about the topic.
The subplot with Claudia and Mary Anne teaching an art class was well done and a good balance.
I felt so sad for Corey, feeling abandoned by her parents. I was glad when Claudia (politely) told her mom off.
And Kristy gave some great advice about Claudia and Corey's friendship as Claudia is grieving.
There was one moment of comic relief when the BSC was remembering the first time Mimi tried pizza for the first time.
But I did cry a few times and this one is one of my favorite of the series.
