The hit series is back, to charm and inspire another generation of baby-sitters!
For once, Claudia's studied really hard for her math test. And when she gets her paper back, it has an A- on it. All right!
But then Claudia's math teacher calls her to his desk and accuses her of copying off of Shawna Riverson's test.
Claudia can't believe it, and neither can the baby-sitters. Claudia would never cheat! And they're not going to rest until they help clear Claudia's name!

Good old’ Nancy Drew. The part where Claudia finds out that she (I don’t remember her name) cheated on the test is so shocking! Claud usually gets a C to a D- Wow!!!😃🥹😊

This all could have been avoided if Claudia's parents were actually adults and went to the principal and teacher to stick up for their daughter. Not wanting their involvement and to solve it on her own was ridiculous. You're 12/13 years old, Claudia.
Also, it's not much of a "middle school mystery" when we know who really cheated. The antics the BSC do to prove it are just silly and avoidable. Ok, you told your parents you'd handle it. Then tell the teacher you studied hard and you'd retake a test right now to prove it. And then tell Miss Cheater to take one too and see who's the liar.
The one silver lining to this book was that Jeanine stood up for Claudia and stepped in to clear her name. For two sisters who don't usually get alone it was nice to see them be allies in this one.
2.75 out of 5 Math Tests.
Disappointing.
