Surprises around every corner

This book is awesome. So many twists are built into Arik and Kaya’s story you will be kept on the edge of your seat. Loved this book and Hilllary Huber’s performance.

I love all the Breed series books but this one along with Chase and Tavia's story are my favorites. thanks Lara!!! Keep em' coming!!!

Its fun to see where the children of the original couples are able to contribute to the call and how they discover their destiny.

Another Winner

Hillary Huber is great with changing voices for the many characters Lara presents in her stories. This is another winner for Lara Adrian. I love this series. Although it seems like too long a wait between books.

Love Every Single Book in This Series

This series rivals my all time favorite, JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series. Always full of drama, action, and romance.

A good,but not great, chapter.

This is one of my all time favorite series; right up there with The Immortal Guardians and The Black Dagger Brotherhood. I enjoyed this novel but it lacked the emotional impact of many of the other books, in the series. Be that as it may, I will continue to automatically download any novel or novella, from this series.

Take us back to another Order command center based in Montreal Russia. Headed by commander known as Nikolia and his breed mate Renata with their adopted daughter who is now all grownup. Also, mated to another of the breed male she was raised with growing up in the commander center in Boston twenty year backward. An assignment was giving to Aric Chase and his friend Rafe Malebranche who is the son of Dante and Tess. This new generation are the foot warriors on the ground just as their fathers the original warriors has defended their race and people for decade. The brothers and friends were assigned with job that they only can accomplished without tipping the hand of their enemies before they will notice. As they make their way to Russian and started the debriefing of the assignment from their leader Lucan Thorn. Aric Chase meet a breedmate that will change the playboy life for good. There journey began with this assignment that will take them into their enemy territorial for a wedding of the historical time as the lady involved was the granddaughter of a forma minister This is the story of Aric Chase (son of Stirling & Tavia Chase, twin brother of Carys). As a trainee for the Order, he’s dedicated to his career as a warrior and wants nothing more than to get out in the field like his father, his friends, and the men he has looked up to all his life. So, when he gets the chance to take on a mission in Montreal, he jumps at it. Kaya is a breedmate who is training with the Montreal branch of the Order. After surviving a torturous childhood and some time on the streets, she is tough, fierce, and determined, and is working hard to prove herself to her team – the first real ‘family’ she has ever experienced. When Aric and Kaya are teamed up to go undercover to investigate a lead in the ongoing war against Opus Nostrum (a terrorist group determined to wipe out the Breed), they both have something to prove and they throw themselves into their mission. It doesn’t exactly go as planned, which sets the stage for their work together to continue, and for the rest of the Order to get drawn in to their ever-complicated investigation. Somehow they were able to come together to see the issues that was holding Kaya away form the new relationship. With trust for each other now opened with her secrets she opened up when he followed Kaya he did help me to resolved the problems including the finding the mole within their mist.

holy crap

I couldn't put this book down. My heart broke when....well I wont spoil it, but I almost quit the book. Well written can't wait for more.

Wish this series were narrated by a man.

I hate to rate the narrator down since it's really not her fault, but she is a woman and, to me, this is a male centric series, like the Black Dagger Brotherhood. The story itself was pretty good, but just not as good as the early ones. For some reason, the books are all getting shorter than the earlier books were. Not as much detail or plot building. I do enjoy the series, but it is weakening.
