Ari Fliakos kills! I can’t imagine anyone doing a better job of narrating this book!

What another great ride City of Dreams is! I loved it and am considering listening to it again starting tomorrow.

Don Winslow is one of the best writers, ever!

Simply phenomenal all around. The gripping story, narrator performance…..total package. Highly recommend this book.

First, hear City on Fire. Then listen to this gem. Rinse and repeat. They’re both better two or three times around.

Brilliant work…

Winslow reveals humanity within the monster. This is a really fast read. The narration is superb. There’s a hope of redemption, only to be reminded the inhabitants sold their souls in the beginning.

Nevertheless Danny Ryan is a tragic hero, one worth getting to know. If you like mafia tales, this is one one for the ages.

Great story.

If you’re a Winslow fan and liked these characters from the previous books this is an awesome book.

I enjoyed this one as much if not better than the first one. This series has been scratching an itch I didn’t even realize I had. Extremely satisfying.

Great story - many twists and turns.

Liked everything!! Madeline, Danny, the Hollywood story; easy to follow plot - poignant subject.
Can’t wait to listen to book three.
