Great Fantasy series and a great bundle

it's always nice to get more bang for your buck. I was able to get 3 books for the price of one credit. The series is a great fantasy series that was recommend to me. I would recommend other people start with the other books first.

Xander, Marie, and Menkhef Find Their Soulmates

Lovers Absolution - Book 4
I have to say that this fourth book is, for me, the best one so far in this series. I have always had a soft spot for Zander and was eagerly awaiting his story which proved to be well worth the wait. I enjoyed this one from beginning to end. Although I loved the first book about how Tre and Della met and then forged their bond, I didn't like the second book quite as much Eris and Trynne’s story seemed to lack a bond between them for so much of the book. I did however like the attraction between Mason and Oksana and I loved Mason who was almost too good to be true but in all these books it was Zader who captured my attention so I was happy when book four turned out to be his story.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Xander and Manisha story, it was both enthralling and different. Manisha is the nanny to a six-year-old boy who is believed to be the reincarnation of the Dalai Lama. When he is captured and turned into a vampire she finds herself turned into a werewolf. It is her supposed fate to become the mate of Crank the Alpha of this pack once she has made her first transformation. The pack is working for the demon Bayel's henchman and she is forced to make contact with Zander to lure him into a trap or else they will hurt the child.

As it turns out she is the reincarnation of his long-dead wife and the connection is felt by both of them immediately but can they ever be together - a vampire and a werewolf? I loved Manisha she was so strong and determined to help her charge who having been turned into a vampire is refusing to eat. She's also determined to escape but is captured and finds herself locked in a disused industrial freezer with Zander. During her first shift she and Zander battle and bite each other the consequences of which are surprising and totally unexpected

I won't say anymore because it would spoil this incredible story but I will say that the next books have a lot to live up to.

Lovers Atonement - Book 5
This book is about Duchess's or as we learn in this book Marie. Throughout the series, she has come across as something of an "Ice Queen" a woman with many secrets. A woman who believes that she is not now nor has she ever been a good person. In this story, she gets to be reunited with her reincarnated soulmate. Chan Wei Yong is a CIA operative who is in Malaysia working deep undercover with a group of religious zealots. Duchess, Oksana, and Mason arrive in Kuala Lumpur to try and find the son of Mason’s former colleague. He has been kidnapped by the cult and during their search for him, Duchess and Chan meet.

This part of the story is somewhat different from the others because both Duchess and Chan have done bad things during their lives, they have both deceived the person they should have been true to. There is not the deep and abiding love between them that the others have had for each other, but that said it is a strong enough bond to draw them together again.

They are both damaged souls, the love between them isn’t a deep and abiding love, nor is it sweet but they agree to start afresh and try to find comfort in each other. This sets the stage for the next book which, as he is the only original vampire left, will be about Snag the oldest and most powerful vampire of them all as he and the reunited lovers all ten of them, together with their allies attempt to defeat Bael.

In this story I loved how Mason's character is developing, he’s growing as a character, he was able to help Chan adjust and is now no longer the "baby" vampire.

Lover's Victory - Book 6
Finally, we have Snag's story or Menkhef, his given name, and his love interests. The authors did hint in previous books in this series that the13th vampire on the council of 13 might have been the child, but it wasn't. Back in ancient Egypt when Menkhef was still human he had a beautiful wife and everything he could ask for, except a child. He believed that he was sterile and so he invited his very close childhood friend, who was now the leader of his palace guard, to join with them both as part of their marriage. They had both fallen in love with her but it was Menkhef who married her. The arrangement worked well and his best friend became the father of their children.

Menkhef and the rest of the team are now ensconced in the oldest pyramid in Egypt, where lots of people have gone to seek sanctuary from Bayel's undead army. Amy and Elijah, a married couple from the USA, have come to visit the Pyramid. Amy is pregnant but their marriage is somewhat rocky as they both feel that something is missing and we soon find out that they are linked to Menkhef.

When the time arrives for the battle to defeat Bayel the Council is still only 11 strong as neither Elijah or Amy have consented to join it and Menkhef makes it clear that they are not to be forced. The climax of the battle was not what I was expecting but it did bring to an end the struggles facing everyone. It wasn't as action-filled as I was expecting but it did mean all the loose ends were dealt with.

The relationship between Menkhef, Amy and Elijah is toned down, I think for the sake of readers/listeners who don't normally read about threesomes, but it is a strong and loving relationship which does bring happiness to all three of them.

At the end of this book, we jump forward in time and find out what has happened to everyone since the day of the battle which I enjoyed.

The narration by Gwendolyn Druyor is again excellent as she changes between the many different accents she has to perform, each one always consistent and recognizable. She always delivers a top-notch performance and never disappoints.

Very good listen

Enjoyable storyline overall and good universe building. I thought each couple’s stories to be well thought out and each had their own unique tone despite similar beginnings.

The conclusion was slightly surprising and very satisfying.

I was disappointed in the final relationship as it was not a true polyamorous one and RA Steffan has done those so well in other stories.

Another OMG!

I was in love with books 1-3 but books 4-6 is added to another of my favorite I recommend getting these book they are worth the buy seriously!!

Circle of Blood 4-6

What a great box set. As I did with the previous three, I loved listening to these three. The struggles that the vampires have when they find their soulmates are beyond heartbreaking and yet they are able to push through and connect with them in the end of each book. The ending to this series is fantastic and definitely did not end in the way I thought it would. I can’t really explain without giving away any spoilers. This series is a must read for anyone who likes vampire books.

This was just as entertaining as the first set of books. I love them! I can't wait to drive to and from work every morning so that I can find out what happens next!

Love these vamps

Seeing the progression of the War and finding all the mates has been amazing. I've really enjoyed the individual stories, and the ending felt good for the series.
Absolutely love the narrator, she's amazing

You really don't want to miss this series, I absolutely loved it! I have read every book in this series and they are all amazing! The narration is superb and gives that extra flair to the books. This authors are great with their character builds and plot. They keep you invested and entertained the stories. The ending was so unexpected, you can't help but be awed by these authors. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I loved it!

A breathtaking emotional well paced series with very likable characters and a fascinating storyline. I really enjoyed all six books but four was definitely my favorite! I think the narrator did a fantastic job with all the characters! I’d definitely recommend this audiobook series to anyone! Thankfully I was gifted the series and I’m voluntarily leaving this review.

What marvelous reads! I devoured these books - could not stop reading.

Full of action, adventure, vampires, love, and light and darkness. So hooking, captivating. The storyline is fangtastic and interesting. The characters were absolutely wonderful to get to know and fall in love with.

A wonderful experiencing listening to these books. So enjoyable.

Perfect for readers of paranormal romances.
