Publisher's summary

Zane Banach’s life is turned upside down....

When he touches a crystal at a local museum and finds himself standing in a pressurized dome on the moon, trying to make sense of what happened. Until he touched the crystal, he was an ordinary senior at Alamogordo High School. His main distinction was his love for comic books and his ADHD. He reluctantly tells Deagan and June, his foster parents, about his experience and is shocked when they set him down to reveal the truth.

Zane was born in a parallel reality and was brought to his present reality when he was four years old in a desperate attempt to protect him from Zar Nero, the madman from Mars Colony who is determined to destroy Earth. Zane learns moments before his father’s death, his dad implanted secret plans to a powerful weapon in Zane’s brain before his evacuation. Deagan must find a way to retrieve the weapon design, while Zane is forced to deal with echoes of the past—images that lead him on a wild journey across parallel realities and on to an Earth hovering on the brink of war.

Now he must figure out how to blend into a world advanced centuries beyond his wildest dreams. He wants to follow his father’s footsteps and join the fight to save Earth. But first, he has to learn how to order food. Take a shower. Open a door. Wear clothes. And not bring attention to himself while he flails about in a futuristic world of wonders.

Chrome World is Amazing!

I have listened to “Chrome World” twice. It is amazing! I actually enjoyed it even more the second time I listened to it. I am not usually a Sci Fi person; yet, this book with its action- packed storyline hooked me in. The characters are teens who, through their unique personalities, develop a wonderful friendship. Most readers will identify with the characters because they, too, were marginalized sometime in their lives. Mr. Inman truly made his characters come to life with all the action in the book in a very different world. The narrator, Christy Lou, is absolutely remarkable! She has the ability to match all the voices to the different personalities of the characters in the book. You will so love listening to her! I would recommend “Chrome World” to all who love an action-packed, creative story.

Chrome World is a fun read!

So I read this book, well honestly i didn’t read all of it. I cheated using audible. I promised the author I would give it a review… sooooo here it is.

*If you are from Alamogordo, Holloman, Cloudcroft,Tularosa pr really anywhere in the southwest this book is a must read. Travis does a great job of enlightening all readers about the beauty of our landscapes.

*This book was a fun read and if you like Harry Potter and Star Wars you will love this book.

*This book casts a spotlight on disabilities that we can relate to and how a group overcame their personal disabilities. I am looking forward to the next book in the Earth Fire Series.

Bravo Travis Inman!

I want to live inside Travis Inman’s imagination!

This was a phenomenal book! I was captivated and drawn in by the story, and the story teller, from the first page! It’s one of those books that you are happy to be sitting in traffic with! I would sit in my car long after I arrived home, listening to this thrilling book!

One of the most compelling, raw and unexpected part of this book was the first person view of what it actually feels like to have ADHD. As a parent of a child with ADHD I found it fascinating to hear what it feels like and what goes through a person’s brain as they are dealing with ADHD! It is such a unique perspective. In all the books I’ve read dealing with ADHD I’ve never heard about what it really feels like to deal with it.

The narration was easy to listen to, with really wonderful heart felt emotion. While I expected a male voice for this “type of book”, Christy Lou completely shattered my stereotyping, and nailed both female and male characters! Wonderful work!

This is not only a fantastic and imaginative journey of a book, it is also a strong form of advocacy for anyone dealing with ADHD personally, loves or teaches someone with ADHD!
Thank you Travis Inman for not just shinning a light into a fantastic new world, but for also shinning a light on ADHD and how it effects the lives it touches.
