For me, the story had me second guessing myself. It really sounds like the Butterfly series to me. I felt like this part of the story was kind of repetitive of what I’d already read in the other books. I love this series but this one didn’t do it for me.

Good book to fill in some of the missing pieces of Ethic and Lanika. Too bad the mom didn’t show for Christmas.

I always love catching up with my favorite charact
Where is Nicole Smalls? Don't get me wrong Cary Hite is a great narrator just not for this story . The glimpse into the lives of A and E and the family was a great into into Butterfly

Inconsistent
I love the entire series, however all of the books have so many inconsistencies in time stamps. Like for example this one. When Ethic and Alani got married the twins were 6 months old & in this book they have only been married for 4 months & the twins are still six months old. There are some others throughout the entire series as well. Great stories lines, but make it make sense. Also the Christmas tree they got was in the accident & Morgan & Aria went to buy one from Walmart so how is this tree the one they chopped down?
