Gorgeously toe-warming Christmas tale
Endearing characters, delightful setting and so beautifully well-written, this was a joy of a book! Lovely novel - if you enjoy a heartwarming story with plenty of amusing supporting characters, this book is for you!

Slowest slow burn EVER
This was the slowest slow burn EVER and it drove me crazy. I can do a good slow burn, but the level of non-communication and lack of connection between the two main characters drove me nuts. They don’t have a decent, actually clear conversation until the last 30 minutes of the book. I honestly found the whole thing fairly boring and quit listening to it for other books. It was cute, but I finished it upon principle more than enjoyment. I might just read too much smut though, so perhaps this is a me problem more than the book’s problem.
