Shane East is absolutely wonderful, but Alicyn Aimes doesn't match with him in her reading.

Loved it.

I can’t wait until I can listen to the next audio of these BDSM. The narrators are great!

Short story packs a big punch

I loved revisiting these characters and liked how Elizabeth and Alexander's story concluded from the prior book.. Now I need to know what happens to Nicholas.
I also really enjoyed the voice actors in this book. Both were fantastic.

Too short of a follow up book

This book picks right after the first and it was good but also too short. It goes into Nicholas’s issue of gambling and wanted more so now I have to get the 3rd book

Too short continuation of the Restrained series

Just nine chapters in length, this story is a continuation of In His Silks. While Shane East was retained for More excellent narration of the male primary roles of Alexander and Nicolas, Elizabeth’s role was though was consigned to an Inconsistent Alicyn Aires, whose performance varies from suitable to screechy Elizabeth becomes increasingly insecure thanks to a nasty call from her selfish, insensitive mother and between that and a dangerous mob bookie that Nicholas used for a gambling debt, poor Alexander has no easy time recuperating from a near death gunshot experience. Little Christmas joy but a few sexy scenes and a bit of a move forward in The narrative. No defined ending - The story just stops. I would not bother unless you have the Escape Package- not worth a credit.

Terribly inconsistent - don’t waste your time

I love the first book, but this one just didn’t track with it at all! The timeline was WAY off, the characters were jumbled, there were mistakes in names and it just felt like it was thrown together. And the very end of it was just stupid... an additional scene thrown in for no reason at all.
Even the name pronunciations and speech patterns throughout this little book itself by Alicyn Ames were inconsistent. Than God got Shane East’s consistency and wonderful narration. He’s the only reason I even listened to the whole thing.
It was just frustrating in general!

Christmas Bows Indeed

Elizabeth and Alexander are back - so put a yulelog on the fire and gather round for a Christmas tale unlike any other. Alexander is not the most acquiescent of patients, but Elizabeth is taking his convalescence very seriously. She almost lost her love to that hitman and she will not let his stubbornness further jeopardize his health and recovery. She also is trying to come to grips with her new lifestyle. You would think it would be easy to slip into the role a billionaire's girlfriend, but for an independent woman such as Elizabeth it’s not all it's cracked up to be. Alexander knows he has to put a lot of things to bed - worries over his health and how it’s affecting his company, the ludicrous idea that Elizabeth is after his money in the press, Nicholas and his out of control gambling problem, and most pressingly Elizabeth - like literally! She is his and he cannot wait to get he in his silks again and maybe something that binds together even more…

Narration- Shane joins us again and he is as delightful as ever. This time we are joined by Alicyn and she was a nice take on Elizabeth, but I still preferred Elena

Great Short Holiday Story!

This is the second book in the Restrained Series. This is a great Short Holiday Story, fast-paced with a little suspense, and an introduction to Nick's story. I like Alexander and Elizabeth and Nick is an intriguing character and I can't wait for his story in book 4! The next book in the Series is All Tied Up for New Year's, another short Holiday Story, this time about Milos, the Greek bodyguard! The narration was really well done. Shane East is one of my favorite narrators. I love is voice! This is my first listen to Alicyn Aimes's voice. She has a great and clear voice, easy to understand. I enjoyed my listening.
