Los Angeles super model Summer Landers finds herself stuck going home for Christmas after 10 years of avoiding the heartbreak she left there. Besides dealing with the crazy antics of the town people, Summer must also avoid her ex-boyfriend, Brad, who has returned home for the Christmas holidays as well. Try as she might to avoid it, Summer must deal with her feelings and the truth about that fateful night under the mistletoe so long ago. Mistletoe kisses and cookies are too much to deal with, and try as she might, it looks like Summer is destined to relive the worse nightmare of her life. Luckily, Christmas brings miracles and Kissing Bridge is full of them so anything can happen....

sorry, i was not impressed. characters were not developed very well. whole story fell flat to me.

Young adult fiction

Cute, but not for me. Geared towards young adults. Should let you know that before downloading!

Length was perfect, but story not for me

On the positive side, there was nothing in this book that took me on an emotional roller coaster; nothing that depressed me, made me feel guilty or question the “real” meaning of Christmas, family, friendship, etc. - which seems to happen in many holiday books. So for that it was refreshing. However, I couldn’t find myself really connecting to the characters nor the story itself. I appreciate that the story was under 3hrs, though with that limitation more time was needed on resolving the “conflict” - 10yrs of anger and resentment all seemed too easily forgiven and moved on from.

Feel good book

A feel good book that's lite reading when you just want to escape into a fun book. The writing was very well done and the narration was excellent. I defiantly recommend this book. Can't wait to read more from this author.

Awful

I don’t normally pan books, but this was truly awful. The writing was choppy and repetitive (not to mention that one whole chapter was literally repeated 3 times) and the narration was just bad. I’m all for a fluffy Christmas read, but this doesn’t even qualify. I honestly wonder if this was written by a middle schooler, because that’s about the maturity level of this book. At least it was quick and free.
