Some cases hit close to the bone. For amateur sleuth Sabrina Carlson, this is one of them. In Sabrina's mind, missing-persons investigations are always the hardest. Mostly because they remind her of losing her sister years before. If fighting off flashbacks of her sister's death isn't bad enough, this current case is one of the most difficult of Sabrina's career. After all, Claire Blakely didn't just disappear without a trace. She also didn't have any enemies. In addition, as far as Sabrina can tell, there are no leads to work with.

I was so excited to be able to jump back into this series again and have to say I was once again not disappointed. I really enjoyed the characters, story, narration
I do love Sabrina and her family. With two cops and one amateur detective all related, Treasure Cove should know they cannot get away with anything. I enjoyed how Meredith Potts weaved in the family and friend relationships through the story, and I have come to care about them all. Stephanie Quinn did another wonderful job with the voices and bringing the story alive. The words of Ms. Potts and the narration of Ms. Quinn made my ride to work very enjoyable.
I received this audiobook as a gift, and this is my unsolicited review.

Great Read
Christmas Gingerbread Cookies with a Side of Murder (Daley Buzz Treasure Cove Cozy Mystery Book 30) by Meredith Potts. Sabrina is desperate to have a peaceful holiday. Christmas is approaching and there is a killer on the loose in Treasure Cove. The killer is finding different ways to cover their tracks and Sabrina is having a hard time finding out who they are. This was another good read by Meredith Potts and I can’t wait to read more by the author.

Gingerbread is my favorite!
Finally a book that has gingerbread! This quick holiday murder mystery had me at the title. Cozies are so much fun to listen to and Meredith Potts always delivers good stories. Sabrina was looking forward to a nice quiet Christmas. David was investigating an ad for a hitman, and when he went to question the wife, he had found her dead in her house. It would not be Treasure Cove without a murder to investigate, especially around the holiday! Sabrina is depressed, but pulls herself up along with some detective work from their daughter Jessica. Will this family find the killer before Christmas? Witty conversations, quirky characters and of course, gingerbread bring this mystery to a close. Narrated by Stephanie Quinn, it's a great listen.

A cozy mystery and Christmas, what more could you want? I really enjoyed this book and felt that the narrator did a good job bringing the story to life for me.

Murder right before Christmas!
Will the latest murder investigation ruin Sabrina and David's Christmas? Just when they thought they had prevented Kim's murder... they didn't. I really enjoy the interplay between the characters. I've said this in other reviews: Meredith Potts does really well at crafting conversation between the characters. She has some phrases that thread in and out of the stories. One is: stare him down. I had never heard that before listening to these books. And then I heard it in conversation recently! Huh. =) As usual, Sabrina and David track the killer down, this time with some help from their adult daughter, Jessica.
The narrator did a decent job of dramatizing the story. I did have to chuckle at her male voices, lol, but at least I knew who was speaking! She has a different style of reading than some of the other readers of the Sabrina books, not bad, just different. More of an introspection of Sabrina's thoughts.
I was given this audiobook in exchange for my honest and fair review. I highly recommend this and the other books with Sabrina if you enjoy cozy mysteries. For me, it is the perfect something to listen to while doing crafts, housework, or driving.
