Not what was expected... in a good way

I enjoyed this book. This was the first I heard from this author and I was pleasantly surprised. SPOILER: I did not like the whole old polygamist king cradle robbing part, I found that disgusting.

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. Selena Scott has written a book with intriguing plot development and fascinating character development. This story instantly captivated me and held my attention throughout this book. Amos is torn between his love for Lucy and his loyalty to his king who just wants her for a breeder. If he goes against the king, he will be killed. Ms Scott also gives us an Oracle that will help guide them and also make the listener chuckle. Meghan Kelly does an outstanding job of portraying the emotions and personalities of these characters. You will think that you're listening to a dual narration because her male voices are so realistic and great. She gives the characters distinctive voices and brings them to life. She is an amazing storyteller and such a pleasure to listen to. I highly recommended this Audible book for your listening enjoyment.

Oh, how I loved this book! You have so much going on in such a small amount of time with some twists that you may have not seen coming. On top of that, you have an epic love that can’t be tamed. Great book!

Great Story!!

I was given this free review copy audio book at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I love Amos and Lucy!! Amos is the bodyguard to the dragon King and Lucy is the perfect candidate to provide the King offspring. Amos and Lucy are destined to be together. Great story line and great characters. Narrator Meghan Kelly does a wonderful job with the characters and story!

Fun and Steamy!

This is the first book in The Dragon Realm Series, a dragon fantasy romance. Lucy and Amos story is fun, action packed, and steamy. The characters are great and the storyline is entertaining, and well paced. I enjoyed it. Meghan Kelly did a great job with the narration.
