Publisher's Summary

CHERUB exists for the simplest of reasons: Even a master criminal doesn't suspect that the kid next door is a spy. When CHERUB uncovers a link between eco-terrorist group Help Earth and a wealthy religious cult known as The Survivors, James Adams is sent to Australia on an infiltration mission. It's his toughest job so far.

The Survivors' outback headquarters are completely isolated, and the cult's brainwashing techniques mean James is under massive pressure to conform. This time he's not just fighting terrorists. He's got to battle to keep control of his own mind.

A great listen

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

It's a well constructed fast paced story , the narration is great

Who was your favorite character and why?

Rat , he's clever and tough

Which scene did you most enjoy?

Usually the last bit of a thriller or adventure annoys me when it is drawn out and gets boring ,but with this book it was my favourite bit. Just the right amount of tension .

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

About kids but adults are going to love it too .

Any additional comments?

Certificate 18 !

A great re-reading experience!

What did you like most about Cherub: Divine Madness?

I read the CHERUB series as a teenager and loved it. Going back to the series, I was expecting it to feel clunky and over-written, but it wasn't at all!

Really considering collecting them all again as audiobooks :)

Great book read well but where is the epilogue ?

When you read these books in print and on ebooks the epilogue is always present which tells you what happened after the end of the book. This part is really like the last chapter of the book. I have noticed this is missing from all the audible narration of this series which is a shame. Can you add this to the audible content please as it feels as though a chapter is missing!

Brilliant

I love this book! It always has many twists, and the story is grappling!

This book is amazing, because of all the characters and story.

My son loves it, my gran loves it, my 14 other children love it, a and my 3 year old god daughter hates it.

Slow start for a cherub book but worth it

Takes a while to get to the meat of the story. It's fascinating learning about the manipulation techniques used by cults. Some of the mundane stuff makes it

A Trip Down Under

This is my first listen on Audible, having used other sources for the previous 4 Cherub books, and boy am I happy with my purchase.

It took a bit of adjusting to get used to Simon Scardifield’s accents for every character, but they really grew on me and I can’t imagine the characters any different.

Divine Madness is another incredible entry into the Cherub Series by Robert Muchamore despite the lack of action seen throughout the novel. Do not let that deter you though as the storytelling, characters, setting, and dialogue are all out of the world and Robert deserves all the praise for this.

Could not recommend enough, 5/5

P.S. do not listen to this before going to bed, I made the mistake and now I can’t fall asleep
