Publisher's Summary

Camilla Brown always wanted a family of her own. But it seemed destiny had other plans. She’d begun to feel as though she'd always be in the background, helping others build their families, leaving her dreams to wilt and die.

That is until the handsome Winston Frank comes courting at the church picnic. But then, Sheriff Clifford Brentwood sweeps her off her feet, literally! Both men make her pulse race. Both are determined to claim her love. Only one can win her heart.

When an unexpected danger threatens her very life, Camilla will have to make a choice. Who will she choose?

This book can be listened to as a stand-alone, but also continues the story of Camilla Brown from The Betrothed.

Cherished

This is a sweet clean romance story set in the 1800's. It has those fun story elements of finding love and danger. The narration was ok, but personally some of the character voices were not my favorites. But over all he did a great job distinguishing between characters.

Sheriff or Rancher?

I love Vivi Holt's romances and this one is another great addition to the Cutter's Creek series. These tales of women and men finding each other and falling in love in the frontier of Montana are greatly entertaining.

Camilla Brown is getting tired of living with her brother and his growing family, but she doesn't see any prospective offers coming her way. Suddenly, she has the dilemma of having not one, but two suitors! Which one should she choose? Will she be satisfied with a good man who will make a good husband and father? Or, should she hold out for true love?

I enjoyed the side stories in this book and think that they added a lot to it. In fact, I would have liked more depth in the story of Sheriff Clifford Brentwood's duties as sheriff. And, the story of Charlotte's family was especially poignant. Ms. Holt has a wonderful way of writing that really paints a picture of frontier life in Montana. If you love reading clean, Christian romance, give this series and this author a try. You won't be disappointed!

The narrator does a good job, but I have to say that his female British voices were a little too much for me. I was given the opportunity to listen to the Audible version of this book by the author and choose to review it.

Sweet and Clean Historical Western Romance

This is the book 9 in the Cutter's Creek Series. This standalone story in the Series is a sweet and clean Historical Western Romance, with a love triangle. I like Camillla, Clifford, and Winston's story. All the characters are great and the storyline is fast-paced, filled with intrigue, and action. The narration is good and the narrator's voice suits the story. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily written this review.

Should she marry him or not.

I loved the story . There is an interesting mix of characters. There is a good bit of action and drama. What's a girl to do when she is being courted by one very eligible man but she has feelings for another who hasn't expressed any feelings for her. As far as narration, I didn't care much for the female voices with British accents. But otherwise it was fine.

Love Triangle Christian Romance

This one is quite the emotional roller coaster... just have tissues handy. I don't want to give away the story so I will just say it was a beautiful love triangle story with additional stories woven through the main story that added wonderful layers and interest to the reading of it. Simply put it's another wonderful story from Vivi Holt.

One sided relationship

I love the characters in this series and Camalia is no different. I think the sheriff had this dream of Camalia in his head. My thought on this is that how could Camalia fall for a man who is never around and only had a few encounters with. Her other beau she traveled across country with and now he is courting her. I understand her reluctance to marry Winston with his temper. Camalia had enough of that with her own father. The voices are excellent on the audiobook and as many times as Camalia gets into to trouble keeps the plot interesting.
