Vivi and Chasin

Sweet body guard/security team and starlet romance. Add some past hurts, and a dash of light Kink. I love a sexy growly alpha, and Riley truly knows how to deliver.

Riley also chose excellent voice actors! Both are wonderful and acting out the voices and making it clear whose talking!.

Intense and Immersive

The narrators of this book pull the listener into the heat of the action. This is an immersive listen. Genevieve and Chasin are oil and water. The conflict driven intense plot puts you the listener on the spot.
Four worthy stars

Country superstar and the Security Expert!!

Genevieve Ellison is renting a room, staying incognito, and getting away from it all. Chasin is renting her the room, and has no clue who she is - just knows that sparks are flying. A misunderstanding has Chasin walking away, but when stalker danger escalates, he and the Gemini group are on hand to keep her safe.

Love the backstory of these characters; the secondary characters, and working to remedy roadblocks to romance. I listened to the audio, and the narrators were terrific.

Chasin's Surrender, great story

The fifth book in the Gemini Group series, a well written story with a very good storyline. Genevieve Ellison and Chasin Murray have a connection as the day before they hooked up. Bobbi her best friend has come to Gemini Group to get them to be Evie's bodyguards, as she has a really nasty stalker. Both of them have really nasty things in their background that they have to overcome in order to get their happy ending. The story is well worth reading. I enjoyed listening to their story.

Riley Edwards does it again

I really enjoyed this book. The miscommunications between the main characters was a little infuriating but needed for the story line.

I love that the story continues to bring in other members of the Gemini Group and the closeness between friends keeps you going back for more.

The narration was flawless with different POVs.

Another great book featuring the Gemini Group

After a chance meeting with Genevieve Ellison on the lake, Chasin Murry believes he has found the one. Not knowing anything about her other than the sparks that are flying between the two of them, Chasin overhears a conversation with Vivi talking with her assistant Bobby. Instead of asking about Bobby, he automatically assumes the worst and accuses her of cheating and walks out the door. Because thanks to his cheating mother, one thing he hates is a cheater.
Country music star Genevieve Ellison has a huge following as well as a stalker. She moved to her uncles lake house in the middle of nowhere trying to hide from her stalker and and has hired the Gemini Group to protect her and discovers Chasin is one of the owners when they have their first meeting. Knowing he has misunderstood the situation, Chasin has taken the responsibility of working directly with Vivi.
Up until this point, Genevieve has been in her own world and did not realize the seriousness of her situation. She realizes that she needs protection and to be more aware of her surroundings. Even with protection, her stalker is getting bolder and the group needs to find and neutralize him before it’s too late.

Fantastic Narration!

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book previously, but the audiobook, with Erin Mallon, singing the song and her southern accent at just the right times, really enhanced this novel. Joe Arden is always a great narrator and complimented Erin perfectly. Great book, better narration.

Love this series

Chasin and Vivi's story was so good, even if Chasin was so frustrating at times. I loved these two and how the suspense element was there from start to finish. I loved all the cameos as well as Vivi's bestie, Bobby. The narrators were great too!

Explosive and Hot

Talk about explosive right from the get go and that was just from one weekend of meeting. Boy, I needed some ice water. Chasin and Genevieve hit it hard and fast with falling in love like all the other couples. Page turner from start to finish and hated putting down as I was getting ready to move, priorities.

nice blend

The narration team does a great job of using inflection and tone to separate the characters. Chasin's story is a very nice blend of suspense and romance. Vivi/Evie is a well rebounded character with heavy darkness in her past, Chasin is able to help her overcome her demons and Evie's strength helps Chasin to leave his scars behind. I love the team. I love revisiting with all of them. This is a great story with engaging characters.

Gemini once again

A sweet and great story, very well narrated by Joe Arden and Erin Mallon - as usual.

Great listen. This book has wonderful characters, a great storyline, with some suspense, a good amount of action, and I really liked how it played out. It was very enjoyable and entertaining read.

Second Chance to Love and Romantic Suspense!

This is the fifth book in the Gemini Group series, a Romantic Suspense. Chasin and Genevieve/Evie's second chance to love is emotional, passionate, and captivating, filled with angst, misunderstanding, and twists and turns. I liked the suspense. Joe Arden and Erin Mallon did an amazing job with the narration. Looking forward to more in the series. If you like Romantic Suspense, this one is for you! I highly recommend this series. Loved!

A great addition to the Gemini Group series by Riley Edwards! Chasin and Genevieve have a magical weekend together and then things fall apart. There is chemistry and passion in the first chapter and I thoroughly enjoyed this story, it has suspense, humor, and a great group of characters.

Another win for the Gemini Group!

First of all, this is the fifth book in the series, and while all of the books are stand-alone, they are all connected as they feature the Gemini Group. I suggest reading or listening to the books in order.

Chasin and Genevieve have a chance encounter when Chasin literally fishes Genevieve out of the water. Their chemistry and connection is instantly explosive and, without knowing much about each other, they spend a weekend in bed. Then disaster strikes and things don't work out until real life throws them together. Genevieve is a famous country singer who has come to Maryland to escape a stalker. Chasin, as a part of Gemini Group, becomes a part of her security detail.

As usual, Riley Edwards has written multi-dimensional characters. Despite having good jobs and strong personalities, both these characters have personal challenges they need to face in order to recapture their connection. I like that they are more than just an alpha male and a strong female with lots of chemistry between them. Add in the romantic suspense element, and the story is sizzling!

I really enjoyed this audiobook. Joe Arden and Erin Mallon, who have narrated the whole series so far, have done an excellent job of capturing the personalities of the characters with their voices.

I adore this series!

Genevieve is a country music star who is growing weary of the trappings of fame, including a dangerous stalker. Chasin meets her when she’s hiding out, and at first, he has no clue who she is, only that they are wildly attracted to each other. After a few blissful days and nights together, a misunderstanding causes Chasin to walk out the door and throw her away.

Genevieve turns to the Gemini Group for help as her stalker grows more scary and dangerous. Chasin finally puts everything together, and realizes he has serious amends to make if he wants to win this woman back and keep her safe.

This series has become one of my all-time favorites. You can listen to these books on their own, but they are so much better in order as one book neatly dovetails into another. Joe Arden and Erin Mallon really bring this book to life, including a little bit of signing, and Genevieve’s Tennessee drawl.

What a start

I adore the start of this book, as an intro to the characters it blows me up, and then it just gets better and better.

Joe & Erin do another amazing job with narrating this book, bringing all the emotions to life including the uncomfortable ones that make you wince at the rawness of them. When Evie wants to hate Chasin that comes through, when Chasin harbours regret for his actions, you feel that too.

From lust to love to hate to distrust to acceptance to love this book barrels it’s way through all the feels a couple could possibly have in a compressed timeline (a given if you know anything about these men, when they know, they KNOW!)

I love how Chasin was so hyper aware of who Evie was and when she was being herself and when not. I loved how Evie didn’t just roll over and stood up for herself. I loved her relationship ship with Bobbie, as well as with Holden too…so sweet

Another couple goals for me, this book is written and narrated so perfectly.

On to the book with truly all the emotions next, I’m bracing myself for this on. Bring it on Holden….

Chasin and Evie

I loved the dynamic in this story. The characters backstories added so much to their current struggles but the way they pulled together made my Heart happy.

Chasin & Genevieve

Wow this book was one heck of a ride. There was enough suspense and action to make a Hollywood movie very jealous, enough steamy scenes that would make this film (if it was a film) only be shown way way past the watershed and tons of love and friendship.

Riley Edwards is brilliant but adding Erin Mallon and Joe Arden to the mix was a strike of genius.

Perfect mix of romance and suspense!

Riley Edwards has me hooked on this series! I cannot get enough! Chasin's story is the perfect mix of suspense and romance. From the first night, Chasin new Genevieve was his person. But circumstances and his past ended in a bad decision and both of them alone. Now Evie is in danger. As a famous singer, there are always threats, but this one is now hitting too close to home. Gemini Group is brought in without knowing Chasin is part of it, and now he is on a mission to keep her safe. But even with the entire team to back him up, will everyone come out alive? This is such an exciting story. I love Evie! I love how she knows herself and exactly what she wants. Keeping herself grounded, she is in tune with life and the direction she wants to go. Chasin is a little too spontaneous with his actions, but he is learning from it, and his love and loyalty runs deep. Plus we get to hang with all the group, and it's becoming extremely comfortable with them all! I am looking forward to Holden's story next!

Joe Arden and Erin Mallon are so good in this one. Each giving Evie a slight southern twang, and spotlights on Mallon singing made this listen come alive! Arden continues to bring these alpha men to life, and as Chasin, he has a stubborn streak and a teddy bear heart. This team can do no wrong and it just makes me want more from them! Bring on the next book!
