Love the characters, the emotion, and the narrators.

I love this author and this series. The narrators are great. The story line was a little hard to keep up with and the story was slow to play out. I would still read what this author writes because she is able to make you feel the real emotion through her characters. I did like this story; I just felt that the plot was a little to drawn out to keep my full attention.

Must read!

A.J. and Anastasia complete opposites or so they may seem. FBI woman and SEAL cowboy working together to prove her innocence of being involved with Russian spies and betraying the country they are sworn to protect. A.J. team has his back trusting his instincts to do what is right. A.J. has to take Ana to Alabama to keep her safe and she meets the family and instantly falls in love. A.J. family and friends are warm inviting and very protective. CAN’T wait to read the Alabama boys stories! Humor sass tears and lots of love in this story. Oh and lots of BAD ASS men and women. Can’t help but love the characters more with such amazing narrators. Recommend 100%!

Nobody does a cowboy like AJ!

The Men of Echo and Bravo are back and the spotlight is on AJ, our dear Southern boy who is as real as the American Flag boxers he wears! And, he’s got brothers and a sister and a Mom who is a true Southern Lady with all the grit and panache that we would expect and she can bake! (And I’m sure that we will get up close and personal with this entire family!) But I digress….

Special Agent Ana Quinn, who we met during the assignation attempt in Finding The Way Back, has moved to DC and is on assignment with a new Task Force. We know a couple of things at this point, one she has not forgotten about the Scott and Scott’s AJ Hawkins and the sparks that ignited when they met and she wasn’t free to explore that further.

As the story unfolds, these two cross paths and those sparks that were hinted at earlier, well, its better that fireworks on the 4th of July!

This story is fast-paced and with the introduction of new characters we are sent on one of the wildest, most suspenseful tales yet!

Brittney’s ability to take past historical events and weave them into background to give these characters substance and drive, is incredible.

I have favorites in this series, but this one took my heart on the ride of its life!

Chasing Daylight was another hit! This MS girl loved this book about an AL boy. This book has it all - adventure, southern boys, love... How could you go wrong? Answer: Brittney can’t.

Love this author!

I received this ARC and was really looking forward to hearing the voices I only imagined in my head. Since I read the book already, I always look forward to hearing the characters come to life on my long commute to work. Unfortunately, this time I was disappointed in the narrators.

The narrator who portrayed Ana seemed as if she was racing to read her characters lines. I had to slow down the speed to even be able to listen. 1x was way to fast and 0.9x was okay but if you went slower it took something away from the character.

I was looking forward to hearing AJ and the slow southern accent I was sure was going to be there however it was not. I heard it in chapter 3 but then it seemed to disappear. It popped up here and there afterwards, but if I had one suggestion it would be that when the chapters are from the H's point of view, then the voice carries the accents or characters nuances unless speaking for other characters.

The story was, as always, stellar from this author and I have and will continue to read and listen to everything she writes. I am one of her biggest fans and am always looking forward to to the next release. This story is amazing and I have no clue how she can come up with stories that are complex, engaging and keep you guessing till the end. I love this author and encourage others to enter into the Stealth Ops Series, it is not to be missed!

Keeps getting better

The Stealth Ops series has been one of my favorites, but it just keeps getting better and better!! A.J. gave Liam and Asher a run for their money for being my favorites in the series. I loved A.J. and Ana's story. As usual full of laughs, suspense, and love.

Love Aj and Anna’s story. As always you have a love story wrapped around intrigue. She has also dropped a few tidbits and who will be in future stories.

Loved every second of AJ and Ana. The voice actors were fantastic, the Southern accent not too bad by either of them.

Save a horse, ride a cowboy! Oh my goodness. Brittney does it again! The story of AJ and Anastasia is filled with humor, suspense, steamy sex, friendship, trust and mistrust. I want to travel down to Alabama and spend a week with AJ’s family. So much fun! Love how Ana discovered her truth in this book and realized she was a cowgirl at heart. Loved learning more about AJ as he’s made brief appearances in the other Stealth books and he certainly did not disappoint. Loved the twists in Ana’s past and how they came full circle in the story as AJ and Ana fell for each other. Hoping to read about all of AJ’s brothers and can’t wait to read more about Chris, Roman and Harper. This book was outstanding like all of the Stealth Op series and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves HEA’s. Can’t wait for the next one.
