Finding Yourself

Colin writes an interesting story of growing up black while he faces the decisions of a future in baseball or football beginning in college. It took me a while to catch on because his life was very different than mine. But I’m glad I kept listening to the audio book because it is well done and it’s a good story and I learned a lot.

Very Interesting!

I story is a very good one for those of us with color in different environments. I think that he explains the journey very nicely and he clearly expressed the desire to be independent and not held back.

A different perspective

I liked getting to know Colin. I'm glad he found his voice and he was able to form connections with who he is. He remained steady about what he believes in.

Loved everything about it!

Colin did an amazing job! I loved this book & the way he told the story was so immersive and beautifully executed! I love how they made sure to “set the scene” for everything with background audio & effects, other characters narrating their audio, and just the way he talks about how he came into himself in this world and choosing / paving his own path. Love!!!! :)
