BRAVA

With twists and turns this plot is very fresh and Haley Munro is a gifted reader. Her facility with accents is impressive!

I REALLY liked this!

I was submerged in this story right away. There’s really a lot of depth to it that I really wasn’t expecting. I think I was assuming a quirky rom-com type story. But this was much more. It was romantic, but dealt with complex family dynamics in a way that pulled me in.

Narrator's mic is broken.

About 7 chapters in you hear a click and suddenly the mic sounds tinny and wrong. Some of the words come off garbled and the narrator sounds like she's whispering some of the chapters even when she raises her voice. Either the mic is broken or the narrator needs to record during the day because it was awful to listen to. I had no issues with the narrator, but as soon as the volume lowered or the mic started to sound garbled it ruined whatever she said.

I liked it

The story line was mostly believable I liked the MC. Narration could have been better.

Love in the Highlands…whoa!! what are the chances?!

Wonderfully written. A rollercoaster of emotions. Loved the honest communication of feelings and the connection between the two MCs, hot and steamy. A story of finding the one, healing from past wounds and taking a chance on love. Clare Lydon always entertains. Enjoyed the narration as well.

Phenomenal

I love every part of this book, didn't see the twist coming but it was beautiful. I enjoyed every minute, makes you really think about the people who come into your life.

NARRATOR

Took me a minute to begin to understand some words with the accent, but I got it… it’s when she ends a lot of sentences in a lower tone or almost a whisper that I had to go back to listen again (often). Story was ok. I do like this author, but this one took me a bit to get into.

Almost perfect

Perfect, but I kept getting confused who’s who. The story was predictable, but entertaining and really good for what it is. Recommend 👍🏼

Cute story

I don’t usually read or listen to romance books but I needed a good wlw book and this one didn’t disappoint. Very cute story.

Just Meh

Let down by Clare. The narrator was also kinda wack.. long and drawn out often due to constant repetition.. also the whole sisters heart was don’t in away that was obvious early on and not easily accepted by the MC’s so I had a hard time getting on board. I’d like my credit back…
