When Chandler's douche bag boyfriend dumps him and makes him feel like he needs to change, I reluctantly agree to help. Mostly because I've never been able to say no to him. In my eyes, Chandler is perfect. Always has been. I know I'm not good enough for him, I mean I barely graduated high school, and I only did that because he tutored me the whole time, but it doesn't stop me from having those secret wants. A chance encounter with the man who made him feel like shit leads to me all but peeing on him in public, and I maybe go a little too far and reveal some things about myself that I'd been holding on to for years. Will I have the confidence to be the man Chandler seems to think I am, or will my self-doubt cause me to miss out on something I've only ever dreamed about.
As with all my books, this series is pretty fluffy. Not much angst at all, no cheating, and definitely a happy ending! Meant to be a light-hearted listen to make you laugh...or at least smile.

Sam reminds me of the horses we rescue. Scarred, skittish, and…strong. Beautiful. He’s a bit of a hat-stealer, and, truth be told, I’m a little leery of his chosen profession. The things he does in front of a camera...well, it makes me blush just thinkin' about it. But if that scar on his face is any indication, he could use somebody at his back. I aim to be that person. And yeah, some of my parts get confused by the fact that he’s all delicate and sparkly, but that’s not important. Even if the good hand lotion has somehow made it into the tack room.

Sweet and adorably funny!!💗💓💗
The Training Days series is one of my favorite series by J.D. light!! I just absolutely love these adorably sweet silly characters so much and I really hope the rest of the series comes to audible soon!! I think the narrator did such a great job of bringing these adorable characters to life, I also liked the way he did the mental thoughts.

This narrator is new to me and I found I really like him. I thought it was cool how he did the thinking voices. He really brought the story to life. I forgot how adorable their mutual longing was.
