An interesting read

With a good performance by the Narrator the listener can be introduced to a subject that very few people
have much knowledge of.

In a short period of time you will be enriched with knowledge that will help you understand parts of Europe
with a dazzling history.

Great for those new to Celtic mythology

I was surprised to see how similar Celtic Mythology is to Norse Mythology. Not so much in that the stories are the same, but they have the same feel to them. Some stories are indeed similar, but have different twists.

I really enjoyed this book. The narration was spot on. I'm actually looking at listening to some more books about the Celtic Gods and sagas.

Great Book Series

I listened to this along with Greek Mythology (first in series) during my morning commute. I love mythology, so I already knew a lot of the material covered, but there was a lot that I forgot about and some new stuff as well. I'd definitely recommend!

The narrator also did a great job.

I requested and received a free copy of this audiobook from the author, publisher, or narrator in exchange for an unbiased review. I was NOT required to write a positive review and this reflects my honest opinion of the work.

GREAT INFO ON CELTIC MYTHOLOGY

I have also recently listened to Greek Mythology by the same author, and find this one, about Celtic Mythology, just as fascinating! Lots of info into legends and lore of Celtic Mythology. It's a fascinating read/listen, and I learned a lot, and want to know more! It's not overly long but gives you some great info for the curious, and it allows for deeper exploration into this fascinating world. Enjoyed writing and narration, would definitely listen to more by both! :)

Basic Coverage of Celtic Mythology

A retelling of some basic Celtic legends organized by country. Includes Finn MacCool, CuChulainn and others. Wel researched and retold but not particularly in depth.

all-inclusive guide to Celtic Mythology

Not all books I listen to need to be a haunted house, a shifter, or even a love story. This book is an all-inclusive guide to Celtic Mythology. The first art of the book is an introduction to the Celts and their culture. This book mainly focuses on the Irish and Welsh, although Celts are far and wide in their tribes.

The book also features Myths, the Ulster Cycle, The Fenian Cycle, The Kings’ Cycle, Welsh Mythology.

Did you know one of the first residents of Ireland was Noah of the Bible's Daughter? Neither did I.

The book was extremely interesting and I personally enjoyed it very much. I love history and culture. This book is the 2nd book of the Classical Mythology Series by Scott Lewis. I will be finding more titles of this series. The book was narrated by Oliver Hunt. I really enjoyed the narration. I did not feel like he was reading to a 10 year old like a lot of non fiction books. I felt like at times he was actually telling me a story not reading it.

Entertainment & Education

Classic Stories of the Celtic Gods, Goddesses, Heroes, and Monsters. This book deals only with Irish & Welsh Celts not the broader scope of European Celts. It is a good starter book on this subject and some of the stories about Irish Celts are very entertaining, especially listening as that is the way they originated.
Great book great evening listen, I'm going to re listen to this on a dark cold winters evening.

Informative

I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I enjoyed this short summary of Celtic mythology. My favourite was the three swans of Ireland, though I had heard it before. It does go through each myth quickly and it is quite informative. I quite enjoyed it.
