Publisher's summary

The threats multiply. A new enemy emerges. The fate of the human race hangs in the balance.

From the safety of their mountain fortress, Drew builds a team to combat the beast invasion around them. New wonders are discovered as he progresses through the tiers of power and further enhances himself.

After an altercation with the military threatens their survival, Drew must decide how they will respond. Will Drew be able to prevent all out war with the army?

The stunning conclusion of the World Destruction Trilogy in the Beast Invasion series from Timothy Nugent. Continue your journey into a post apocalyptic progression fantasy that contains a westernized version of cultivation. Join Drew as he follows a weak-to-strong progression into power, magical science, action, and light western cultivation, all told by a third person narrator from a single point of view. The series does not contain a harem, stats tables, or instructions on how to grow his power. Drew must experiment and learn it all on his own.

This Volume makes the MC So Beta.

He starts to remind me of the MCs from Japanese Light novels.
Forgives everyone. Ever since he found his wife he becomes everyone's stepping stone. The only reason he is the MC at this point is plot armor and a head start.

The supporting characters are designed to have certain quirks, but at some point Daisey just becomes annoying and unbearable. Not sure what purpose she serves. I would've dropped her off with the Army at any point.

There needs to be development on the fact that everyone walks over him. At this point watching the military making him bend over is painful.

**The Ending: Kind of ruined the whole series for me. It sucks i was all in on this series. Went from PG-13 to pretty Grimdark. The reason it so annoying is because it makes no sense. The people we read about took time and effort to get to where they are. All of a sudden we introduce a brand new antagonist he figures everything out and is already on par with the strongest people in the book? what happened to the window between core absorption? Everyone but the MC knew what was going to happen and it sucked seeing him strung along like that.

Waste of time and credit

This series went down the train real quick, MC and his group gets betrayed by the army on the worst kept secret(ending) ever. The MC went super stupid in this book. He was the only one that didn’t see that coming. Ending this book in a cliffhanger just added insult to injury. The Author ruined a promising series with this book. Don’t waste your time, find another series. Bye

Not bad not great,

While overall the book is ok I think the characters are highly flawed. The MC is kind of an idiot, then thinks he is a scientist. He makes dumb mistakes and overthinks.

I can't stand several of the side characters. They are whiny and have no sense.

The narrator isn't the best but isn't the worst. I think the series is worth a listen while you await another book.
