In this episode I speak with Lisa Thomas whose journey is extraordinary. Lisa from the streets of Washington DC, she overcame alcohol and drug addiction, prostitution, abortion, and incarceration. She is a former radio talk show host and a current author of three books. We discuss the possibilities of Getting Back on Track with God. Lisa has worked with the Virginia Department of Corrections, leading reentry seminars statewide. She speaks nationwide to correctional institutions, corporations, churches, universities, and nonprofits. From surviving the streets of Washington, D.C., to becoming a member of a Senate Sub-Committee on prisoner reentry in Virginia, Lisa's life embodies 2 Corinthians 5:17, and she lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband Tom, of 33 years, their two children, and an expectant daughter-in-law.

In this episode we discuss with Christen Aquino,who serves as the Managing Director of Evangelization for Our Lady of Light Family of Parishes in Dayton, OH and is one of the co-founders of this document, how to help foster Discipleship Leadership and the importance of Discipleship at the parish. Continuing our exploration of the Process of Evangelization and Discipleship Document created by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati Center for the New Evangelization, Christen shares with us how she uses the document and the formation platform to help parish leadership grow as disciples. In turn this helps shift the parish culture into a more missionary parish.
