Publisher's summary

Catching The Lady is the ninth Standalone Clean Regency Romance Story in The Lady Series.

Virginia Gillingham has watched her older sisters marry for love. Of course, she wants the same…only she craves a little adventure first. With her friends, Selina and Madeline du Campion, the trio set off on a series of dares, each one more exciting than the last.

But while things start out innocently enough, one dare goes terribly wrong.

Virginia is challenged to steal an apple from the neighbour’s trees and is caught by a visiting Viscount, Phineas Braithwaite. Mortified, Virginia hopes never to cross paths with the man again. But one is never so lucky....

Virginia

This is book 3 of the series. It picks up where book 2 left off, but can be read as a stand alone. It is a clean novella, good for a quick read. Virgt works out in the end, with a HEA. inia father decrees she must marry. Find a husband, or he will find one for her. She does not want to marry, and enjoys her freedom. She meets a Duke, and can’t stop dreaming about him. Chemistry and infatuation? The story is well written and engaging. The characters are interesting and relatable. The narration was well done. Not ready to grow up.

A short, sweet, regency romance. Nice characters. Snappy dialogue. Twisty plot. HEA.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this audiobook from the author through Story Origin. Zane Boyer's presentation of the story and characters was spot on. A variety of voices and feels. 5 stars for him.
