Publisher's Summary

For Carter Madden, his time in the military isn't the only thing that haunts him.

For Serenity Taylor, unanswered questions can drive a sane mind mad with speculation.

But a Madden man may not be for every woman. Especially when broken promises cut deep and unknown secrets whisper loudly in the dark.

Contains mature themes.

Not My Favorite Series!!!

If I'm being honest, I was not a huge fan of the Madden Brothers series. This book was just above meh for me. Carter and Serenity have a long complicated history and we finally get some insight into why he left 16 years ago. His reasoning for leaving is a little wonky. His family pretty much ran the town they lived in so, I find it confusing why he and Serenity just didn't go to his parents for help. But, I digress. For some reason, I wasn't that engaged with Carter and Serenity as a couple. They just didn't speak to my spirit. But, I am glad they finally got their HEA. Serenity definitely deserved it. As always, Jakobi came through and did his thang. His performance is ALWAYS phenomenal. But, I gave the performance 3-stars because, Mari is horrible. I really wish authors would stop using her. She is just not a good narrator. Can somebody tell me what happened to Rodney's brother?!!! We know Rodney got some hot led but, what happened to Kevin?!!!

I enjoyed this

The reviews had me not wanting to read this. However I would say if you like romances with a bit of an edge but not "thug" storyline this is for you. I am a fan of Jakobi so there is that part.

Green is a gift!

My original exposure to Ms. Green’s To Marry A Madden catalog was because of my appreciation of narrator Jakobi Diem’s talent. I dove into the series wanting to experience the artistry he brings to narration, and I’m so been pleased to have been introduced to her work.

This is the fourth book in the series and it only heightens the anticipation that the Madden family has built for the readers/listeners. Green makes sure that she takes her time when developing characters, and it pays off in a great way. Carter’s Undoing is suspenseful and mysterious, while being sexy and funny at the same time. As always, Diem adds a layer of complexity with his interpretation of the main and peripheral characters that is spot on. Mari, the female narrator, does a solid job as well. Definitely recommend!

LOVE!!!!!!!!!

I loved this story! Love how different Carters life was from the rest of his brothers but still the emotion tied to his family.

Undone with Carter’s #undoing

Beautifully written account of a man who will stop at nothing for the woman he loves. This book had a different tone from the previous Madden series books. Much like Carter’s life story, the tone of this book wasn’t as light and airy as the others. Instead it was real, full of emotion, and raw!

Well done Ms. Green! Thank you for taking us on this journey. I laughed, cried, was angry, and also filled with butterflies. Mari and Jakobi had phenomenal roles in bringing this story to life through audio. If you’ve read Malakai, Crayson, and Caden’s stories, you HAVE TO complete the series buy spending time with Carter Madden!

SOOO GOOOOD.

Tremendous plot. Ties all the books together nicely with ample tragedy, trauma, devotion, romance+ sex.
