"Maybe we live our lives constantly becoming and rebecoming. Maybe we're always in the process of metamorphosing into something new."
In her journal, writer Piper George notes the change of seasons. Each entry marks the passage of time since she became a teen mother and put her baby up for adoption. Her words flow together, painting a picture of loss, hope, and enduring love for the daughter she's never forgotten. But one autumn, a new presence appears in its pages and in her life: her neighbor, Edward "Ned" Chesterfield.
As winter thaws to spring, Piper and Ned develop a friendship that could be something more... if only Piper would open her heart. But the loss of her daughter has irrevocably shaped her life. And having given so much of herself away, she's not sure if she can give Ned all that he deserves. But with him at her side, Piper just might learn that a heart's love is never truly lost.

The narrator made all the difference Christina Traister read the book so well and made me feel like you're watching the story on a big screen..What was one of the most memorable moments of Carry Her Heart?
The most memorable part to me was Amanda's graduation. At that point the flood gates opened for me. Wow! That's all I have to say.Have you listened to any of Christina Traister’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Loved this book! The story was sweet and clean and still had my attention throughout. One I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to my daughters. What other book might you compare Carry Her Heart to and why?
"Delicious" by Ruth ReichlNicholas Sparks' books.
Robyn Carr without the token sex scenes that if they were left out, the stories would hold their own.
Marie Bostwick
Colleen Coble's
Brandilyn Collins ...
Have you listened to any of Christina Traister’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Not sure if I'd listened to her before. She did an awesome job. I will be looking for more books that she's narrated. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes.Any additional comments?
It's hard to find good books without the token sex scenes that authors seem to think they need to include to sell their books. This book is proof that a good story doesn't need those scenes to get great reviews.A Wonderful Story! Thoroughly Enjoyed it.

If your life has been intimately touched by adoption, this book may be exceptionally emotional. Be aware of that, and only start it at a time that you are able & willing to process the feelings it is likely to bring to the surface.
Maybe you are a birth mother, who felt unable to meet your child’s needs at that time, and so you made that heart-rending, but extremely loving and kind decision to let your baby go, to be raised by someone who seemed to be in a better position at that time to give your little one the kind of life you dreamed for them... if so, I think this book could be like a healing balm to your soul... but be aware, that if you feel your life is not turning out as well as that of the main character in this book, it could be a painful read for you.
This is a beautiful story, told with love and tenderness... but should be marked “handled with care!” for those with gaping wounds in this area of their heart.
