Amazing as Always!!!

I really liked this book in the series and I am so happy that Emily’s voice didn’t go out from portraying Bethany Ann’s alter ego.lol. I’m so excited for the next book and can’t wait for Michael and Bethany Anne to be reunited!!! As always Emily does an amazing job narrating this book and of course props to Michael Anderle for his amazing imagination. Highly recommend this book and Protected by the Damed which is so far a funny, adventure and awesome series.

Filler but fun

More of the story. Not much happens, more setup for future stories than progression of the Arc. But still a fun read.

disappointing i understand the point but ...for once the delivery was lacking .. cannot go into more detail otherwise it would give away the story line. this is the first bad review on all the Michael Anderle books.

REALLY?

I HATED this book after kinda liking ALL of 18 other books in this never-ending story. I am INSULTED he's ending the series I paid a fortune for on Audible to purchase. $18x $10= $180 and Beth any Anne exits stage left with less than a whimper?

I will try the last book in the series just to "give my finances a peace of chance but unless he picks it up with Making me care what happens to Pete, Michael, Steven, Barnabus, Tabitha, et. al. I'm not touching Michael's return to earth and however much learning anything without spending another $200, I'll pass.

And yes, ladies, I love a kick-aast heroine buy give me more than a perfect cardboard cutout. Try Mercy Briggs sometimes. She da bomb but she realistically gets beat up regularly!

I love this series

I love this series just as much as I loved the child cycle by Gordon R Dickson. The characters are wonderful the language, as long as you don't mind a few F bombs, is both exciting and real. The narrator is wonderful, she never gets her characters confused, you always know who is speaking. I look forward to The rest of the books in the Kurtherian saga but the Bethany Ann books Will always be my favorite.

transition and awakening

Some Spoilers. Bethany Anne, as her alter ego Baba Yaga, is on an epic quest to eliminate the Kurtherians. She eliminates 5, with three left. The only problem is, she is also hiding from herself, and her nearest and dearest. The General represents the Etheric Empire in talks to create an Etheric Federation. They need to get Empress BA back to make an appearance so they can retire her. BY/BA finally experiences enough, learns her lessons enough, she finally goes home to the Meredith Reynolds. And she is happy to hear that the time is right to go home to Earth to collect Michael, who has finally returned. One of the highlights is that Tabitha finally has a relationship going herself. The comments on grief are some of the best and most memorable in the book.
Beresford does a good job of narration; she really is the voice of the series.

Absolutely Fan F***ing Tastic book!!!

I'm too tired to do a full review so I promise I'll come back and do a proper review when I wake up. That's how good, no, great this book was, probably my favorite other than Death Becomes Her. So great it was, [WOW an unbidden Yoda moment] and for a writer to do it?? What's up with that? I'll put it down to being tired from staying up all night and listening straight through! Also, I'm a "beginning writer", let's say I'm on probation until my 1st book gets published after 20books conference in November! As I said, I'll do another review on the Kindle side, I already read it, but don't usually review until I listen or do a 2nd read through, so look for it tomorrow. I'll also do a separate one on the fan site at the main fan page on Facebook. Emily is such a great narrator and we've become good friends over the past year or so. I cant give her enough kudos or a PEPSI LOL, [That's just for Michael], FYI I'm a Pepsi drinker [Don't hate me] on the plus side my wife hates it and drinks Coke, even as her coffee in the morning. well I'm going to sleep, look for review later today or tomorrow, I'm looking forward to it because the book was so phenomenal! ...Rob
