She thought she was done with shifters, now she’s captive to one…

Winona York is has just come off an epic fail as a nanny is ready to turn the page. Little does she know that through some crossed wires, she is moving out of the proverbial frying pan and into a sizzling hot fire.

That fire comes in the form is hot-as-sin Rollo Wright. As part of Fae Crossing pack, this wolf is in desperate need of a nanny. The cute young human who shows up is perfect. Only catch is, that there must be some mistake, because she claims she doesn’t work with shifters. Unfortunately when a tip comes in on a killer on the loose, Rollo has no choice but to lock her in with his four young cubs so he can do his duty.

With the elusive and deadly Frederick on the loose, no one is safe, and now Winona is faced with an impossible choice. Abandon the four cute as hell kiddos and her own safety, or stay with an unhinged wolf shifter holding her against her will.

Bound together by fate, it isn’t long til sparks fly. But will they be able to survive a threat that has been plaguing Fae Crossing? And will they be able to survive each other?

I couldn't get past the robotic voice. Had to finish the book by reading it.

terrible narration

The automated voice stood out - and not in a good way. It devalues the book to have a computer read it, even if it is cheaper.

Robotic. Not Realistic!!

This story is really good and the characters believable with all the normal insecurities and human flaws. I guess we all look for love and acceptance. Both Rollo and Winn feel the pain of loss and even tho they want to feel loved they also fear it. Who wants to get hurt again?
The only problem I have is the computer generated narrative. Basically it may have sounded like a live person but it just felt like someone was reading the book without the human emotions and voice fluctuations. Even when I read a book I feel the masculinity and strength of the male characters. So if you're going in this direction at least give us a dual narration.

Rollo and his boys the perfect clan

Start off by saying. This was a great story. The plot was very believable. The lay-out was very plausible. I absolutely hated the narration on this book though. it was very hard to get past the robotic one-toned sound so it was very irritating. but if you can get past that this book is wonderful.

Real characters

Great story and I loved the characters. Virtual narrator was horrible. This audible would have been so much better with a real narrator.

Needs Real Narrator!
