Publisher's Summary

I want him to be my first.

I want him to be the one.

I want him to be my everything.

I didn't expect to spend my 18th birthday stranded in the pouring rain with no way to make it home. I didn't expect to be rescued from the worst night of my life by the most amazing man I'd ever seen.

His name is Nick, and he says he wants to take care of me, says he'll look after me, says I don't need to be alone anymore.

He treats me like a princess, like the fragile little girl he saved from the cold. But I like him...I like him like that. I've never liked anyone like that before....

And it's weird, this thing we have....

It's like I can't decide how we're supposed to be...what we are....

Until he says the words....

Call me Daddy.

Perfect dirty little listen

This audio was not just full of daddy kink, it was also a cute little story about a lonely man and a lonely girl who were perfect for each other and upon meeting, were able to overcome obstacles that made for such a fantastic listen. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I do recommend listening in private though. 😏 if you know what I mean. 😉

Stacy Holmes and Randy Johnson were great narrators. I think Stacy made for a much more traditional narrator where I was able to lose myself in the story where Randy had a female voice that was pretty comical but also seemed to fit the “little” theme perfectly, so it worked.

Not my cup of tea

I wanted to give it shot & step outside my comfort zone. The icky factor was just a little too high for me to like it. Sadly , the D/d genre is just not for me.

Hot hot hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Dirty, naughty, hot daddy play at its nasties.
Boy this got my panties wet, yummmm.
If it’s your kink kind of book you will love this one.
Beware if you don’t like daddy play, this is not for you.

Call me crazy... but this is a Favorite from Jade!

I love this thing. I think these two people are people who could have had other people, their own ages, but found exactly what they wanted - in each other - Laine is much older than her years - she has survived no thanks to Mom or Dad or her "friend". She knows what she wants and she doesn't have to stay - Nick gives her outs - but she's found the first guy she really wants - and knows what she doesn't want by watching Mom all these years. Laine and Nick are very self aware, and reveal intelligence and maturity in several junctures throughout. I read this a while back, the narration enhances the story. If my daughter had a man this devoted and established as Nick, yes, even at 18 or 19, I would have welcomed him - once I knew a little about him. You want a man who is ready to put his woman in front of his own needs, and yet giving her room to grow. I'm all about real devotion, intimacy, communication - and these two have this in spades. Though there is definitely sex - there is so much more to the story, just like 50 shades, that reveals itself throughout.

Good but not great

I enjoyed the narration and that there was such a complex relationship between the two characters but I started to find it sort of boring towards the middle and end just because it started to feel redundant and there were no real struggles or any kind of hardships for either character. Both of them seemed to be at least mostly over their pasts and accepted those parts of themselves and their sexual relationship, which is fine.. good even, but there were really no difficulties that they went through other than the main character having a crappy friend which is not much of a struggle in my eyes so I thought it was okay. It was probably even good because it kept my attention enough to at least get all the way through but I didn't find it great and I probably wouldn't listen again if I had the option just because it reeked of a One-Shot story with less effort put into it than there could have been. I know that it's just one story it's not a full Trilogy or anything but it's possible that there could have been a little bit more effort put into the storyline to make it more compelling for listeners / readers to keep them engaged throughout. Overall, if you're planning on buying this book I wouldn't recommend it.

Should have looked at the reviews!

This just was not good at all, to me. Too much overlap of the little one lost and the current one. Really not for me. I definitely should have read otgers’ comments before buying and am trying to figure out how to return it.

Halfway in I had to give up...

...it’s not that the premise of the story eeks me out-it’s that the story is slow. Very slow. Incredibly slow-with not enough angst for me.

It’s slow. With not enough angst.

If you don’t want any angst and just want to listen to a story about high school kids with an older man of 42.

great story+great performances

loved the story and the voice actors were amazing. only issue I had honestly was the actors to turns with the chapters instead of sharing chapters and staying in that characters voice throughout.

Not my cup of tea...

I listened to this audiobook, but found it was rather “icky” in nature to my preferences. While I realize some people enjoy age play and Daddy play, it seems to be an acquired taste. The story was a bit far fetched and the heroine seemed to be not very intelligent. The hero was aa bit of an oddity too. If you enjoy this sort of thing then go ahead and buy the book.
