According to a study published in December 2021, titled "Risk of Myopericarditis Following COVID-19 Vaccination in a Large Integrated Health System", researchers found that 1 in 2,649 males 12-17 years-old, and 1 in 1,862 males 18-24 years-old, developed vaccine-induced myocarditis. A rate significantly higher than reported by the CDC. According to the Mayo Clinic, complications of myocarditis include heart attack, stroke, irregular heartbeat, and heart failure.
