Ruth Williams eloquently and succinctly introduces the key concepts of Jungian theory and paints his biographical picture with clarity. Good introduction in Jung’s ideas

Good book, well explained matter but sometimes a little ‘dry’ and academic. Loved the update, honest analysis and references to current movements in the field.

Great primer on Jung's basics

It's incredible how the author could condense 20+ volumes of Jung's work into a thin volume of ideas. The only draw back is that the book wasted the last two chapters delving in to Jung's reputation as a racist, Nazi sympathizer, and sexist.
