The accents Grace Grant pulls off are incredible.

Aiden Snow will forever be the voice of the AFK men in my mind, but in By Lethal Force, Grace Grant is an absolute star with her ability to switch between accents. She truly brought Joey's situation, emotional inflection and strength fighting against fear to the surface.

And hearing Snow's slow, steady baratone as he read the last bit of the epilogue brought tears to my eyes.

This was another throughly enjoyable escape via audio.

This series is my first taste of author Patricia Eddy and she is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. I love her writing style and the way she connects her characters within the series while satisfying our desire for an HEA in each book.
Her characters are complicated, broken, loyal, strong, imperfect and absolutely hot!
This story was among other things a second chance that will have you on the edge of your seat.
The narration once again was absolutely perfect. I wish I had the words to describe the way Aiden Snow and Grace Grant bring these characters to life. I Love it!!
This is book five in this series with an HEA and can be read as a standalone, although it does leave you with a twist that will lead you directly to book 6!
I highly recommend this book/series!!

Sisters Spotlight 💜

20 years and meant to be together

This is another great installment to the AFK series. I have enjoyed every book so much. Patricia D Eddy has a great writing style that pulls you in.

Ford has been apart of Dax's team and we briefly meet him in his story, Second Sight. That's where his begins when has to leave to go and save an old friend. Joey is more than an old friend, she's the love of his life and they haven't been in contact for almost 20 years. Joey is a Doctor who works in third world countries providing the care they desperately need. When she's captured and force to find a cure for a terrorist's son, Ford jumps into action to save her.

These two have a deep and lengthy past with each other. I love their history and it adds so much value to the story. These two have been lost for 20 years and I'm glad they were able to find each other.

Aiden Snow and Grace Grant are perfect and two of my favorites. With Aiden's gruff voice and Grace's ability to portray so many emotions, they are a dynamic duo. I have love listening to them together and being the main narrators for most of the AFK series.

Second time's a charm!

The Away from the Keyboard romantic suspense series ranks up as one of my favorite of all time. Each book is a standalone, but I am enjoying them in order. This one had me on the edge of my seat the entire book! Ford is home for a 3 day leave, spending time with his fiancé Joey. His experiences are haunting, and it’s time to go back, so Joey quietly leaves to go and the real horror begins. Ford thinks she has just taken off, but circumstances beyond her control have happened and now 20 years later history is about to repeat itself. Ford, now working for Second Sight is sent to retrieve Joey taken from her Doctors without Borders mission. When he finds out it’s her, there is no doubt he is going to do whatever it takes to save her. But will he find her in time? Will she want to be with him? Talk about a story with real issues and a romance to make you swoon. Joey has strength beyond reproach. She has been through so much, yet she finds the courage to go on, and the compassion to help others. Ford is the one you want to come get you. He is protective, strong and stops at nothing to keep you safe. Twists and turn kept me guessing and the heat had me falling in love. Love this book, this couple and this series.

Narration continues by Aiden Snow and Grace Grant. This team is incredible, each tuning into their characters and pulling out each emotion. They enhance the story with their dual style narration, complimenting each other and giving us a memorable performance.

By Lethal Force is book 5 in the Away from Keyboard series by Patricia Eddy, and I have loved every single book! She writes beautifully broken and flawed former military characters and this book is no exception. You read read this book alone, or in order. This story is second-chance romance for two people who went in completely opposite directions. This was a very emotional journey with thrilling suspense added to the mix, making it a listen-straight-through for me. There is emotional and physical trauma endured by both of them and just when you think it can’t possibly pull you in another direction everything comes together in only the perfect way that it can and only in the way that someone like Patricia Eddy could pull it together.

Aiden Snow is the voice of most of the books in this series and he has that perfect deep and powerful presence backed by a beautiful performance of these truly complex and wonderful characters! Grace Grant is another excellent narrator and does a great job with Joey, who is equally complex and a definite bad ass!!

Amazing

This whole series is so good. I can’t put it down. Each book leads so amazly into the next.

2nd Chances!!!

This is a heartbreaking, rip you apart and put you back together 2nd chance romance. But soooo good If you like a healthy dose of suspense with your romance then this is really the book for you. But as always like the rest of the series its been great to see how it all has been weaved togather. Although you could still read the book as a stand alone. Narration is perfection!

Amazingly Suspenseful! Outstanding Narration!

This is the fifth book in the Away From Keyboard Series. I love this Series so much! You can read this story as a standalone, but believe me, you don't want to miss one book in the Series. Joey and Ford's story is suspenseful, fast-paced, and action packed, filled with twists and turns. Their chemistry is strong and wonderful. I love the ending! This Romantic Suspense/Military Romance is also a great second chance to love. I enjoyed it so much. I highly recommend the entire Series. Grace Grant and Aiden Snow did an outstanding job with the narration. I love their voices together! Now, I can't wait for the next audiobook in the Series, Fighting for Valor.

Gave me chills

The end of this book…. Thank god I am late to the party and the next one is already available! I’m on my third run through of this series in 5 months and the end of this book still gives me chills! The first time I was hyperventilating and screaming needing to know…. Things. Trying so hard not to have away spoilers. Love this book and this series!!
