Must listen to previous books in the series

Books 1 and 2 could stand alone but you'd be entirely lost in book 3 if you hadn't listened to the previous books. The storyline is engaging but it was not a quick listen.
Once again Emily Coffin gave a beautiful narration. She has secured a place on my list of favorite narrators.
