Publisher's Summary

This new audio set is a very special abridgement of two of Stephen R. Covey's best-selling business books, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and The 8th Habit, read by Dr. Covey himself. We've condensed the content of two entire books into just three hours of audio, but you'll still enjoy Dr. Covey's lessons on powerful personal change and how to incorporate his ideas into your life to fulfill your ultimate potential.

Get the FULL version of 7 Habits

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

If it would have included more of the original version of the book

Any additional comments?

7 Habits of Highly Effective People changed my life! I wanted to refresh and listen to again on my road trip & decided on the unabridged version because of a comment that I read recommending it, They wrote that they preferred this version because it wasn't as long but still good if not better. I cannot agree with that at all. The unabridged version cut out many details and one in particular that I was wanting to listen to again & that is the part about emotional bank accounts. If wondering which to choose pick the original you won't regret it,

Worth it

The abridged version is quick and just hits the key points. Well worth your time. I will probably listen to the unabridged versions soon.

Great Listen

I wish there were more abridged versions of great books to help cut down on listening times. This is a high points option of classic read.

perfect audio book

The audio quality is perfect. Easy to listen in a noisy car. The audio consists of 2 parts: the 7 habits and the 8 habit. The 7 habits is the best part. Key information. This abridged version is a very good summary of the book The 7 habits. Spoken by Stephen Covey himself: pleasant voice.

Great recap and reminder

I would highly recommend this book as a reminder for those who previously read the seven habits of highly effective people. It is an excellent summary of the key points as well as an introduction to the eighth habit.

Great for abridged version

It's hard to condense the full book into 3 hours, but that's expected. Considering what has to be packed into this shorter version it's well worth it, particularly for a quick refresher!

Enjoyed the author narrator combo

Good book, lots of insightful advice, motivational. The author is also the narrator and the point he made seemed more focused to me.

Not as good as complete version

Part 1 - 7 habits was ok with concise summary but part 2 was not up to what you can expect from Dr Covey.

I would suggest listening to complete versions instead of this part meal approach
