Very helpful, right level of detail for non-pros

Learned so much from the book. For non-professionals, it is a great listen. Highly recommend.

Informative

This was well written with clear information, but I feel for free you could Google this information.

Short and Sweet, Thorough

Some of these process points I have or would have considered, many I wasn’t even aware about. But the main takeaway is that an architect - ie. a knowing and skilled project manager specializing in buildings - is essential unless your expectation is to fulfill all of their necessary functions instead yourself. To me the choice is obvious, but either way this book was a great overview, and saved me hours of googling.

Not For The Novice

Great for anyone who wants to consider building a house and needs to learn how much is involved. After finishing this general description my first thought was how much I needed a professional architect to get my home built right. Don't listen if you don't know anything about building a home. listen if you want to see how valuable an architect is and why the profession is so valuable.

PIECE OF JUNK!

please don't waste your time on this book-- it took about 30 minutes for the guy to read it to me-- it was terrible and very basic.

Waste of Money

Repetitive to the point where I was losing my mind, this book could be a drinking game for the word Architect, and the narrator has a whistle on his "s" sound that I'm sorry I couldn't stand.
