Honestly the whole series at this point is just ok. Not too much but not too little. It’s lukewarm.

Budding Attraction

The storyline in this book was wholly enjoyable. The flirty and sexy banter between Orson and Ford had an air that felt light, breezy, funny, entertaining, and endearing. It was also great that once again characters from the DMC group were there to provide support and some hilarious and memorable moments.

The development of Orson's and Ford's relationship felt very mature and the communication felt appropriate, especially for men their age, which gave a sense of realism. They displayed respect, care, and consideration for one another, whilst both exhibiting an uninhibited sense of desire for one another.

The connection between Orson and Ford felt amorous, palpable, and electric; like it was kismet. Their friendship progressed into a romantic relationship as lovers, then it evolved into them being boyfriends, and eventually transformed into them being life partners, which honestly felt like an inevitable outcome.

I was absolutely, positively, 100% rooted for Orson's and Ford's Happily Ever After (HEA), and I was elated when it came to fruition because they deserved it. I genuinely enjoyed reading this book and I would definitely recommend it.

Good, but I liked the other better

This may be the mood I have been in, but I didn’t enjoy this one as much as her other books. I was not as caught up in the story. That being said I still enjoyed this and have not, in any way, been turned off. Saxon James is a gem and I will read/listen to anything they write.

I listen to over 300 romance novels 90% of which are mm. this book is not only my favorite male romance novel it's my favorite book ever! chapter 12: the lap dance! holy cow! that is the hottest and sexiest thing I've ever listened to in a novel. made only better by the narration which in this novel is stellar! I love the voices of the characters they're so perfect. I seriously wish that all my books had the same narrator and the same two voices for the leads. I just can't say enough about how perfect everything about this book was. the story is incredible lifted such Great heights by the narration. I've already listened to chapter 12 a dozen times, almost daily. and I just listened to the entire novel for the third time today. I just love it so much!

All of the books in the series so far have been amazing!! I do have to say this is my favorite one though. It's just so sweet, I love it.🥰🥰
