Publisher's Summary

An evening of ACT prep turns deadly when two teenage girls become the target of a ruthless Mexican drug cartel. Their car is left running, their doors ajar, a note crumpled on the floorboard:

I have your daughter and her friend. You know what I want. Get it to me, or I kill them both. You have two weeks.

What is the note talking about? Is there more to this abduction than meets the eye? Amber's dad is a FBI agent. Could the note be for him? Why?

Uncover all the deep connections and dark secrets while experiencing non-stop, heart-pounding action as Amber's dad wages a one-man war to rescue both girls from the clutches of pure evil.

Good

Two young girls are taken, involves a dad who is a FBI agent, the killer is a drug cartel, and what does he want. Well done and a good edge when it is a father figuring out what, he can’t lose, the stakes are high. Good narration, given audio for my voluntary review

Wow! What a story! 10/10

Andrew Brush's daughter is kidnapped and ultimately it's his fault. He will do anything to get her back. As the tagline reads, "His Daughter Went Missing. Now Someone Will Pay". Action packed from start to finish. I listened to it twice because the story is awesomely interwoven. Can't wait to listen to the sequel again as I accidentally listened to it before this one!

Couldn't finish

The narration was so poor that I was unable to finish this book, it reminded me of those automatic text to speech voices, monotonous, slow and with pauses in the wrong places. The narrator also had a sibilant voice, which I personally find difficult to stand. From the amount I heard the writing was "clunky" and awkward and didn't flow well.

An unusual tale

The story has some interesting twists and turns but takes a good while to build up. The final plot twist was a bit expected at the end but worth a listen and the narrator was very good too.
