3 Great Romances Set in A Small East Coast Town

Whether it's firefighters, swoon-worthy actors or reformed ex-convicts with a heart of gold, there's no shortage of lovable leading men in Brunswick Bay Harbour, which makes you wonder why it took the three leading ladies in these books so long to find the love of their lives, but I'm sure glad they waited around for this delicious collection of sweet, sometimes heart rending but always happily ever after romances.
Although the stories are mostly self contained and could be enjoyed in any order, Brunswick Bay's a pretty small town and there are a lot of guest appearances from characters whose main story appeared in earlier books, so this collection is an excellent opportunity to meet all of these great characters in the order their stories happened.
I've loved this series from way back in book one (there is an earlier collection) and these three stories are so good they make me hope there are still lots more lonely singles wandering around this little east coast town looking for the love of their lives.

Book 4
Madman has been terrorizing Brunswick Bay a coastal town, and escapes being found out. Dani is kidnapped while on a hike, then another, and will Max now realizing his feelings, along with the search party found them.
The suspence comes alive with the audio which was good. Given audio for my voluntary review and my honest opinion

Relatable Characters, Interesting Stories

I have really enjoyed this series! The characters are well written and the cliffhanger from the prior book REALLY draws you in. The beginnings of each book usually start with some ripped-from-the-headlines kind of drama for at least one of the primary characters before settling in to tell a story that reads quickly and easily. The characters are relatable, even the celebs (well, except for Eva but she's only got a bit part), interesting, and great to read. If you like small town romance, I'd recommend this series.

The books can be read individually but if you are going to read more than one, I'd recommend starting at the beginning.

I added audio 🎧 to the experience and loved revisiting Brunswick Bay Harbor. The narrator was none other than Ann Omasta, the author. She initially started focused on enunciation but quickly became relaxed on the mic. There were some stilted moments but, on the whole, it was an enjoyable listening experience.

Now, for my most common... desire (as it's really not a complaint). A male narrator to go opposite Ann would have been ideal. There. I said it. 😊

Great Collection

This is a great collection of three stories from this author. Per my discussion with the author. The story is good but her performance makes it hard for you to know if it is a man or a woman in that part of the story. Over all the story-line itself it great and I would recommend it for that reason

Three amazing romances.

There are three books in this set. Shadowed Rubies. Shaded Amethysts. Shocking Sapphires.
Ann Omasta is a fantastic storyteller. Both on paper and in her narration. She brings out all the feels-good and bad. She writes and performs with lots of emotion. With life lessons, humor, and romantic sex. I love her books and these three are amazing.

Great Read

The Brunswick Bay Harbor Gems: Books 4-6 was a great read by Ann Omasta. This box set consists of; Shadowed Rubies, Shocking Sapphires, and Shaded Amethysts. Shadowed Rubies (Brunswick Bay Harbor Gems # 4) was another great read by Ann Omasta. Danica moved away from Brunswick Bay Harbor but finds herself moving back to her hometown. Max is a firefighter who always seems to rescue Dani when she needs him. He rescues her another time when she is lost in the woods. The town’s infamous kidnapper finds her and max helps save her. Shocking Sapphires (Brunswick Bay Harbor Gems #5) was a great read by Ann Omasta. Molly feels as though she is the last single person in Brunswick Bay Harbor. A baby is left at the safe haven drop-off at the fire station. Molly convinces her brother to let her take care of the baby. Grant is speeding on the slick Maine road when he sees a woman and a baby in the road. He is a famous actor who is in Maine for a new movie. Shaded Amethysts (Brunswick Bay Harbor Gems #6) was a great read by Ann Omasta. Avery Biggs was fired and moved back in with her parents. Avery finds herself in trouble when a child falls through the ice. She also finds herself falling for two eligible bachelors, one a veterinarian and one a bad boy. Although she knows that Gage is a bad boy and she should keep her distance, she finds him irresistible. She finds herself on a mission to help her best friend keep her little boy in a bitter custody battle. I really enjoyed reading this book and cant wait to read more by the author.

Great audiobook series

I enjoyed listening to this audiobook series. the characters were very well wtitten and the setting was wonderful. the author did a good job with the narration.

robotic narrator

The story is ok but the narration is robotic. Sometimes I'm not sure who's talking, him or her.
