My name is Brujo Ryan and I am a traditional witch and spiritualist. Today, young witches have lost the occult secrets of practicing astrological magic combined with medicinal / magical herbalism. That means doing spiritual work in harmony with the celestial powers. Witchcraft is an art and a science because real witches experiment with and test the effectiveness of their work using the scientific method. Real witchcraft is not woo woo, it produces real life effects. That’s because the first witch was the woman who went out into Nature and discovered there were herbs that could ease her menstrual cramps, cured illness, and healed wounds. The first witches were herbalists and healers. They understood how to increase the likelihood of a successful pregnancy with fertility magic or cure erectile dysfunction with herbs. They also performed herbal abortions and knew how to concoct poisonous potions that would take care of a cheating, abusive, or violent husband.

These are the “mothers” and they were feared for holding herbal secrets that were passed down from mother to daughter or granddaughter since time immemorial. Male allies who ran with these women learned witchcraft from them. A lot of them were queer and gender non-conforming. Men that fell under the influence of the Divine feminine were also referred to as witches. Not much has changed over the last several thousand years. Everything we know in modern medicine comes from this body of knowledge that continues to evolve and expand even today. And today, as throughout history, we are still being attacked, hunted, and condemned by the ignorant adherents of the Abrahamic religions. There has never been a better time to be a Witch!
