All the emotions

This is wonderfully written book. The personal touch of being read by the author/mother makes it so much more heart wrenching.
She quickly feel the broken hearted emotions that you would expect when you hear of a tragedy such as this. But this family does not let you stay there. They quickly point you to their God and Father and challenge you to get to know him deeper and more intimately.
They remind us that death is just temporary for the believer and God’s Love and Provision is more real than anything we will encounter.
Chapter 5 will be my go to over and over until it takes root and grows.

A must read and hear!

There is something to hearing a person’s experience in their own words and voice. This is heartfelt. You could hear the Lord calling. A truly anointed work. I’m reminded of 2 Corinthians 4:7-9. Now we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this surpassingly great is from God and not us. We are hard-pressed on all sides, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed. Thank you, Lord, for vessels like Sherri Burgess, Rick Burgess and the platform you use in The Rick and Bubba Show. Thank you, Lord, for your love, grace, mercy, and justice.
