The story concept was great but could have been so much better if it was a bit more realistic when it comes to emotions from a person like June.
By the end of the second book, I couldn’t stand June anymore. The story relied heavily on the shock factor rather than the reader (listener) relating to the main characters.
The narrator was great, however.

The performer was great. The story was over the top graphic and gory. Had the potential to be great. I have never felt like I would vomit listening to a book before this. So if that’s what you are in to - this might be for you. DNF.
