In the early 1870's, the young state of Texas was struggling to survive. Its vast, undeveloped land of over 260 thousand square miles became a haven for the lawless. Murderers, rustlers and renegade bands of hostile Indians and Comanchero roamed the vast wastelands of west Texas with only a narrow river separating them from the sanctuary of Mexico. One group of dedicated lawmen stood between this element and the law-abiding citizenry - the Texas Rangers. This is the story of one of those men.

I loved thethe story continue I satin from the first story it was well worth supporting both the author and narrator.
While being longer than the first book I prefer longer stories. On the bright side there were no dry spots in the story. Overall another great story. A huge thanks to both of you.

This 3 Book Series is Awesome
I listened to 3 books all in one night, I could stop! I have gone back and listened to them again. Bobby Clark, your writing is wonderful, I grew up traveling, camping and hiking all throughout CA, AZ, UT, CO and OR. I can see in my mind the places you are describing. Your plots are wonderful, you keep the reader hanging on every word. I will be looking for future stories from you, and Cam is the perfect narrator. Well Done to both of you!

Wow!!
I just finished the second book in this series. I’m hooked! I, like many, stumbled upon Cam’s Dixie Cryptid podcast and saw on his web site that he recommended this author. I said ... Cowboys??? No way!! BUT, then I thought, if I don’t like it, I’ll return it. Well, let me tell you, I love this story, the second in the series. I can’t wait for his third book to hit Audible. ( I know it’s in print, but I love Cam’s voice reading to me.
I feel like I know Matt & Zacchaeus and I, like another reader, wish I had a bigfoot buddy. Great read! Nice job, Bobby!

Great story & narration!
Wish these were longer. I can't believe how much I love the story. I'm not a big fan of Westerns on TV but these stories are so good. keep them coming.

Cam Buckner is an incredible narrator.
loved it. Cam is a great narrator he really made this authors stiry come to full Old West life. LOVED IT..NEED MORE PLEASE. THANK YOU. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
