Good Read

I listened to the first book and got invested. The narrator is emotionless and a little boring but the story is good enough to keep me going. I still don't understand all the science stuff. I feel like it could be explained a little better. The story line is fresh for me. I love post apocalyptic books and this one is a little different. I am invested in the story now so onto the third book.

This story is fresh and exciting. A great read. If you like adventure then this is the book for you. Looking forward to the next book.

Pretty good book

Definitely a worthwhile read. At times comes off a bit like a older teen wrote it even in the adult character portions, but the plot was solid enough to overlook. Interesting concept and different from others. The narrator was stiff though and I think another might have made a difference. Not saying he was bad, just not not as good as some of the other ones that are really good at using inflection and tone in a way that creates more texture, which helps with different characters and situations.

the story keeps getting better

when a book grabs your imagination, time melts away as you enjoy it. I can't wait to read. the rest of the series.
