Publisher's summary

They have gathered now on Damien and are about to witness the last rising of a man-made nova. They are 16 humans in a distant world about to be enveloped by an eruption of violence - horror and murder, oddly complemented by a bizarre, unforgiving love. But justice is not all that they’re about to find. Judgment is coming, and the 16 unsuspecting ones are on the threshold of the murdered star.

Brightness Falls from the Air

The writing was ok. I just could not get excited about the characters. Someone else might be captivated by the story anyway.

Torture and child porn

A graver dream of jumbled logic and scenes. A war worth substance is guarded by three random people? Who happen to include the killer of a species… whose stars death wave is sweeping across this planet…. Just at the time when the last member of the dead race happens to find a way into the planet as an assassin. Oh and unpredictable time waves just do random stuff? And then there is torture for drugs and acceptable child porn being produced by a group on the planet? Just WTF?!?
